I was very sceptical at first. But if Pendulo is part of the project, the game has a good chance to be very good.

ThatGuyWithTheThing: Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh (2023)
On the one hand, I love everything Tintin.
On the other hand, "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn" was waaay too easy.
Even my son (who was nine or ten at the time) noticed, that it was basically a (admittedly) nice animated movie, where you had to accomplish simple tasks to drive the story forward.

This ("Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharao") looks nice - again.
But I hope the gameplay offers a little more of a challenge, than TAoT:tSotU did.
The screenshots are abominable. Tintin's head is horribly spielbergified. Sorry, I love that book (I've got its cover as a wall poster), but no pif paf.

I agree about the screenshots. I hope the gameplay/plot is better than the screenshots' level of quality :/

I wonder if this project was financed to gauge out the interest for a potential "Adventures of Tintin" movie sequel...

...Or maybe the producers meant it as a tie-in with an eventual "Adventures of Tintin" movie sequel, but the movie never happened.

This is developed by Pendulo, Moulinsart is just the organization that manages everything related to Tintin and other properties and works of Hergé.

I'd been under the impression they'd changed their name, but maybe this project falls under Éditions Moulinsart.
