Here are several more titles for the long list, hopefully without duplicates ;)

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (original, not the HD version) -- https://www.gog.com/en/game/oddworld_strangers_wrath
Dungeon Siege 2 -- https://www.gog.com/en/game/dungeon_siege_collection
Empire Earth 2 -- https://www.gog.com/en/game/empire_earth_2_gold
Hearts of Iron II -- https://www.gog.com/en/game/hearts_of_iron_ii_complete
FlatOut -- https://www.gog.com/en/game/flatout

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Stronghold 2
Dynasty Warriors 5

Expansion packs for games from previous Time Travels:
Sacred Underworld
Neverwinter Nights: Kingmaker
Since the PC release of KotOR2 was in 2005, may also count?
And you misspelled Meier :)

And seems like I didn't much care for that year, since from the current list I only played Civilization 4, plus KotOR2 if that will also count, plus Kingmaker from InkPanther's additions. Well, poked at BorderZone too when it was free on Indiegala and it's still installed because I didn't bother to uninstall it but that's too crappy to actually play. And the only other game from the current list that I'd be interested in would be Chaos Theory, maybe.
The Punisher (2005)

A Max Payne clone with torture scenes to interrogate enemies.

Thank you, added them all except for FlatOut. The original release according to wiki was 2004, even though it was for EU only.

Fixed the typo, thanks :)

As for KOTOR 2, I won't be considering it because the original release was in 2004. Platforms aren't usually considered as a factor into the dates. Also, it was already featured in the 2004 thread.

I remember playing a bit of this game. Not as good as Max Payne, but a good game nonetheless. Wish it could come back someday, as I would like to finish it out.

Added, thanks :)
At a glance on Mobygames, seeing Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern also released in 2005, and Wikipedia agrees. Same for Golly, but depends on whether it can actually be considered a game. And since I see console games are also listed, Shadow of Rome also has a 2005 release.
Probably the 2005 release of Cave Story listed there is wrong, other sources stating Dec 2004.
But then you have Keepsake, which elsewhere is listed as 2006 but Mobygames lists a 2005 German release, and German language reviews from 2005 as well.
Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil also came out in 2005 if we are including expansions. Technically it's even on GOG as part of the BFG edition, with difficulty lowered and content removed. Which makes it all the more annoying that the originals aren't here even though Steam has them. I would say RoE is worth playing for the final boss fight and not much else.

Not sure if much else notable is missing from the list. I guess I'd mention Fatal Frame III and Haunting Ground.

I think I might play Dark Corners of the Earth. I've played it before and completed about a third of it. It's a pretty interesting game.

The others having different release dates according to different websites, I left out.
Oh, no. Another time travel!
Time is ruthless, I'm still fighting most of the previous ones :)

To the list they go!

Signed you up for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. It's a great game, although you have to be patient with the gameplay as it's a bit janky. Don't forget to install the unofficial patch, though.
I will play F.E.A.R. and see, if I can complete it. Normally I'm quite bad with this kind of game.

Great choice!

The thing with F.E.A.R. is that it feature bullet time mechanic so you can always slow down time to kill the enemies!
World of Warcraft also came out for Europe and other countries this year when it was just America that had it right at the end of 2004. Unfortunately I can't find the old versions of emulators for the beginning. Version 1.12 is the most popular.
