Quite possible. And those who are not on holidays, are probably busy with work to be done for those who vacationing ;)
That's the reason I thought changing for 2-months period may be a good idea, at least for now.

I am quite busy recently (last month I thought it can't be worse, but this month shows sure it can). My time machine put me in 2015 and I've finished Broforce, but it was good choice at it helped me to handle the last stressful days. I'm going to continue my time travels soon.

I'm staying in '96, want to finish Fantasy General if I'll manage it. And after three continents in the first month, needing half the second to just now finish the fourth doesn't spell good news for finishing the game even in two months, since I assume the fifth will be harder. And that's for the base game, but then there's that expansion too, which is supposed to be insanely hard, let's see if I'll try that too.

Out of what's on the list here, played back in the day Age of Empires, Capitalism Plus, Curse of Monkey Island, Final Fantasy VII (on PC - only one I also finished), Quake 2, Theme Hospital, I believe just a demo of Constructor, and maybe also some Worms 2, was never sure which early Worms game or games I played.

I wish everyone to deal well with their respective circumstances!

However, partly I am also still in '1996' trying to finish "Fade to Black" (and gave up on finsihing the racing 'campaign' challenges of "Wipeout 2097 / XL"--unfortunately, those are still beyond of what I am currently again capable of). In the meantime, I managed to reach the end of level 11--I think there are 13 levels in total.

And because of my recent accident--of which I am still in somewhat ongoing recuperation--I already started my first selection for the year 1997: "Links LS: 1998 Edition". I could even get hold on a copy of some of those "Links 5-Courses Library" addon CD's, so far from Volume 1 and Volume 2. That means I am playing golf not only on the 4 originally included courses from LS 98 but on 10 additional courses (5 on each volume CD) too, and am continuously looking for the other ones.

Originally, I intended to touch on one or two additional games for 1997 (especially, "Rally Cross" on PS1 or my favourite point & click adventure "Riven - The Sequel to Myst"), although I still remember every tiny bit of both of them, and the addon courses for "Links LS: 1998 Edition" keep me well busy.

I snuck back to 1995 for a bit, and started Shivers....fun times.

I am also playing blood on and off(am editing some screens from blood, actually, and will add them to this post when they're ready), and Curse of Money Island.

Never finished Riven, but I have the original box version somewhere and loved what I played of it. Also love Myst, which I completed(original version) a few times long ago.

Time to update my trip!!

Finished the Quake II main campaign. Having previously played the first game, I can safely say that this second one is more to my liking. Although, imo, the gameplay is not as fast paced as the first, Quake II's setting, enemies, weapons, story and overall presentation speak more to me.

I enjoyed it very much, but thought this one is kind of easier than the first. Nonetheless, a must for every fps fan out there.

Now onto the first expansion: The Reckoning!

What a coincidence....I also like the second game more than the first :)
(likely in part due to the game's scifi setting vs the first game's medieval fantasy setting)

Btw, did ya find and complete all the optional secret levels?
(like *spoiler* the space station *end spoiler*)

Hope ya have fun with it(I still have yet to finish the expansions.....though I have finished the main game several times over).

Yeah, imo, the medieval setting is cool, but it begs for swords and spells, instead of guns. I think sci-fi fits better for these type of shooters.

I honestly don't know. I went to the game without any pre-knowledge of it. I do know that I found some secrets within the levels. I also explored a lot so it's possible that I stumbled upon some of those secret levels :D.

If it's more of the same, then I'll enjoy it. If they bring something new and cool, then the better :).

I believe each chapter/episode has one secret level entrance....they're usually a bit hidden off the beaten track, as it were.
If you didn't play them, i'd recommend playing em sometime(via console map loading commands to save time, of course).

Btw, forgot to ask earlier: did ya get the music working for your installation?
(Q2 and the expansions need their music re-enabled, and there's guides in the quake sub-forums)

I'm remembering now that in one of the levels I got the message that I found an alternate way to the mines, so yeah at least that one I played. When you said secret levels, I was thinking it would be akin to the ones on Duke 3D or Shadow Warrior.

I'm using the KMQuake II source port and it fixes the soundtrack.

Oh I get it. I believe I played some then. That space station I think I didn't, unfortunately.

Just finished Quake II: Mission Pack - The Reckoning.

More Quake II. Some new enemies, some new weapons, but overall more of the same, which is cool.
The only thing that bothered me was the last level where they throw at us, over and over again, the same enemy that takes a lot to kill.

Now onto the second, and last, expansion: Ground Zero.

Just finished Quake II: Mission Pack - Ground Zero.

Like the previous mission pack, The Reckoning, this is more of Quake 2. Some few new enemies, some new weapons and the same level design structure.

However, this one had the most infuriating thing: the turrets. How I hate the turrets in this mission pack. They're everywhere!!

But all in all, I really enjoyed my time with Quake II: Quad Damage. An old school shooter that still plays great even to this day.

And with this I completed my trip to 1997. It was a blast.

Just finished Scoprion's arc in MK 4. Amazing graphics!

At the end the decission of ciemnogrodzianin to expand this year in two months was right. In my case, haden´t enough time to play my selection.
