morolf: Fallout is pretty short, not one of those 100 hour monsters.
True, but I'm one of those that prefer to live in a "NeverEnding Story" ;)
I would like to join with last express

Have no nostalgic feelings for it so gonna be an interesting adventure

GamezRanker: I actually have the boxed version of this game.
You´re lucky! I´m a big fan of the movie and other similar films:

The Island of Dr. Moreau
12 Monkeys

The art style and music is pretty.

Well it's just the box/game discs/manual & the box isn't in perfect shape....but yeah, it was a nice find.

12 Monkeys! I saw that one years back....had some nice art/music, from what I remember.

Travel Update

10 - Me and Caleb spent a bit more time at the amusement park before heading off...twas fun for all(well, mostly all).

11 - Caleb decides to spend a bit of time offering up pink slips to his former co-workers

12 - (end episode spoiler) Poor soul....ye shall be missed

13 - (end episode spoiler) This guy, however, shall not be missed.....as he was a real pain in the posterior

14 - (end episode spoiler) And that is that....ashes to ashes, and then onto the second episode

Perhaps the best p&c adventure game and the best crpg ever created in one time travel – nice! :D

Thank you. Please take a seat.
It was a strange time for PC gaming when the consoles could perform almost as well for £100s instead of £1000s.

Pilotwings came out around then

OMG, I just noticed that one of my favorite 1st person adventure games, Shivers 2, came out in 1997! :D

As such, I am requesting that game also be added to my (ever growing) list of games for the current Time Travel Thread.
(and also that Shivers 1 be added to my 1995 list, if that is ok as well)

Game Update

One co-worker got their pink slip....several more to go in Caleb's journey to HR

15 - Taking a nice cruise.....well minus all the nasty staff and annoying passengers.

16 - Caleb and I had to take a quick detour through a nearby lumber yard after some "difficulties" with his transportation.

17 - But we finally got some time to relax at our lodgings. First a dip in the jacuzzi, and then....

18 - ....we took a quick stroll around the grounds(and met an interesting character) before checking in. We were in such a good mood that me and Caleb helped some other guests check out early.

19 - Staff seemed to want us out(might've been all the partying we did) early, though, so we stumbled about looking for another place to stay until a nice chap(or half of one) told us somewhere we could try.

Game Update

Finished Episode 2 of Blood, so now onto Episode 3....well as soon as I finish some other things. Until then, some nice photos from Caleb's trip so far:

20 - Caleb tries out that new place....a bit haunted for most peoples tastes, mayhap, but we found it homey.

21 - We then did a bit of sight seeing, culminating in another visit to one of Caleb's old co-workers.

22 - (spoiler) This is how one deals with pesky bugz

23 - (spoiler) And also this, too

24 - Caleb didn't like freezing his posterior off any longer than need be, so we chose to get to the warmer climes of Episode 3 asap.

Sure, added. Regarding 1995 – it's too late, but, hey, we've got time machine, what's a problem. I jumped to May 2021, just before the deadline, and added Shivers to your '95 plan ;)

Seems our time travelling OP is the master at such things....thanks, OP. :)
(i'm likely gonna start Shivers 1, and then move onto Shivers 2 when that's complete)

Yep, but also some of the worst RTS' I've tried on that list too. :D

The start of my journey was not good (Earth 2140). At first I was excited, but soon discovered it was actually Earth 2150 I really loved and couldn't seem to start 2140 beyond the main menu back in the day. The game simply feels and looks outdated (UI/UX is just not good), and save didn't work so I simply stopped playing it. Saving is a must-have on these games.

I seem to remember Dark Reign was much better, though...

The music however, was something that I really liked, a really good 90's mix of rock and techno/early trance.

The Time Travel Agency is not responsible for the quality of the games from the past.
After leaving the office, complaints will not be considered.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Just wanted to bump this.
Haven't yet started Betrayal in Antara...played the Shadowrun games. I'm also a bit preoccupied with rl problems, which make me rather nervous. But I hope to still contribute something to this thread (either Betrayal in Antara, or maybe playing through Fallout or Jedi Knight again).
Bit sad there aren't that many comments here, it's such a nice idea. But maybe most gamers don't care about old games anymore.

Dunno about everyone else, but as for me: I've had time machine difficulties(been a bit busy with IRL), so I took a short break.....I will be posting more in the next few days, though. :)

(i'm also sorry to hear you're having problems IRL....I hope they get sorted out soon enough, and with a good outcome)

A lot of people are most likely vacationing right now. Or are otherwise occupied. Summer months are more for outside than other times of the year, I reckon.
