It's a fun game to play, so i will probably end up getting it again if they make a complete edition.
YAS. Hopefully will be on GoG connect.
Game has its issues - weird fighting system (e.g you need to select a skill, then confirm its usage via another button), disbalanced weapons (especially the ones, you get in your first town if you've bought the DLC), not-so-smooth camera with mouse.
But its still a huge world, some people compare to the "singleplayer WoW". Would be nice to have it without DRM

Kakarot96: We have R.A. Salvatore (lot of Forgotten Realms books!), Ken Rolston (Elder Scrolls III and IV) and Todd McFarlane (Spawn, but i also loved his Spiderman) 'Nuff said!! (or Excelsior!!) :D
It was Salvatore I had in mind but I didn't know the others were involved. Pretty cool. I hope more lore games come out with their quality and focus.

When I played it this summer I realised the issue of mmos that is never satisfied, they get too big for their own good. Now imagine Amalur but with 2-10 co-op play where the characters can dynamically change the outcome and even engage other players as allies, neutral or enemies.
For sure, I'd buy the game if it got a GOG release.
ohh nice - hope it will show up here - passed on it on xbox and still have to play it - it always looked interesting though

Being a THQ Nordic property now and GOG having a rather nice relation with them, that is a probability.
id pick this up as well, despite being underwhelmed when i picked this up for ps3 back in 2012.

Lucian_Galca: Quite a few still left over last I heard:

http://amalur.wikia.com/wiki/Bugs

That's assuming this is even all of them. I remember there being more last I checked, but that was years ago.

amok: hmm... never experienced any one of them. I must be lucky.
I didn't look through all the reported quest bugs, but I also didn't experience any of the minor or major reported bugs on that page. Perhaps they're console specific? They all seem to be reported on consoles.

darthspudius: it was a fairly average game.
It was, but like several others have stated in this thread, it just had a certain charm or je ne sais quoi about it. I put quite a lot of hours into it, to my own surprise. I'd actually quite like to see it here.
I do remember that shortly before the Company got shut down, they wanted to patch in a way to have more than 2 weapons later in the game, for bigger combos. Like a few new skills you can unlock late game.

There also was stuff like this to-be-done.

https://www.vg247.com/2012/05/28/kingdoms-of-amalur-reckoning-patch-axed/

"Frazier said the patch would have included new features, like a new camera and two additional difficulty modes, on top of bug fixes."

Hopefully THQ can consult some of the original devs on that, the game would be fantastic if they could patch in all the to-do stuff from 2012.
I played this game on the 360, loved it.

Now that I no longer have to worry about the state of Rhode Island taking all the profits, I would welcome a release with updated visuals on GOG.
Excuse me for a moment.

(Goes outside and hysterically screams with joy!)

Sounds cool.
That is great news. I bought it on Steam thinking it would work without Steam after downloading the game but no dice.

It comes here, then I'll definitely get it via connect or buy it again. Either way, great news.
It is unfortunate that now it seems they still need to acquire the right to publish it, from EA no less. That company will be the death of gaming.
