Linko90: Could be anything from games, tech, concept art etc
Yeah, I was hoping they got other game IPs as well... which they won't mention unless someone decides to pester them about it :). 38 Studios had dealings with Big Huge Games before it went bankrupt.

Caesar.: ...and it's got Claudia Black's voice, so double win.
I like how you think. I'm a big Farscape fan myself. :)

One can never have enough Aeryn Sun in their life. :)

Frell yeah!

amok: that game is actually finished as intended. the world was supposed to be expanded on in the MMO which never happened, but KoA as it is is complete. and it was not too bad.

paladin181: The game was originally going to be an MMO. But they couldn't make that happen so it was rushed to completion. As I remember it that was the case.
yes and no. originally it was going to be an MMO, but due to cost they decided to bring out the "first half" of it as a SP RPG game. So they took a major part of the story line and assets and turned it into a single player game. the sale of KoA:R was then supposed to bankroll the further development of the MMO.... which did not go so well.... but point being is that KoA:R was developed and released as a complete game at its time (even with two DLC expansions). The most telling point is the size and shape of the world, which is aimed for funneling a single player. If that world was released as an MMO, it would not have worked at all - too little space and too focused.

"Praise the Aeryn Sun!" To borrow a bit from Dark Souls. :P

If they got other game IPs, I'm pretty sure that they would have mentioned them (as they have done in past acquisition announcements). Other news sites report that the assets are related to the Amalur MMO that was never materialized.

And, no they didn't get their hands on Rise of Nations, if that's what you were hoping. :) That's still Microsoft's baby.

Damnation! You read my mind :).
Cool, can't wait to see it here.

The world is so vast and empty that the game becomes boring about halfway through. I have never finished it due to this. Maybe I'll just pick it up and continue where I left off instead of starting over again only to get bored about the time you cross over the chasm.
I loved KOA. The main problem is the game was way too easy (there are mods to make it more difficult but enemies became more like hitpoint sponges though) and color palette was a bit bland (fixed with a mod as well)....

Lucian_Galca: Quite a few still left over last I heard:

http://amalur.wikia.com/wiki/Bugs

That's assuming this is even all of them. I remember there being more last I checked, but that was years ago.
It isn't as buggy as you think it is (by this point). Like Amok, I've played some of it, and no serious problems so far.
.....

Awesome, but I would like achievements on gog version. Hope THQ Nordic realises that and adds achievements IF it's going to be on GOG.COM.

That's good to hear. I'll have to grab it if Nordic brings it here then.
