I wonder who's next? :p
Where the hell did they get all those cash? Crazy rich game enthusiast owners? Forget CDPR report, I'm curios about THQ financial analysis.
THQNordic if you are reading these forums there are a few IP's that are in limbo or not being used by there current holders that you should look into such as Noone Lives Forever and Alpha Protocol, you would make a number of people happy by getting those and bringing them here :)

Dude do you not follow THQ Nordics CEO and financials?

THQ Nordics CEO is a billionaire, yes a billionaire with a b. He is a very rich investor.

Nope, tbh I just got back to game serously this last 2 years. Just read the 2017 statement and they were loaded. Really look forward to the 2018's.
They're sitting on a pile of ever-growing ip and they are mostly friendly to DRM-free and to GoG so I'm happy with them eating up whatever they can. I'm still waiting for them to release some more titles here though. I'd be happy with a Dead Island release.
This ain't good .

He a tech billionare?
Not interested in the another one "Reincarnation", but would be glad to see the proper "redux" of the original Carmageddon for modern systems.
Niice. Maybe we'll get a new Carmageddon
Well, I hope this doesn't mean that the description of Carmageddon TDR 2000 on the game page will be changed. :P
THQ is my mental image for mediocre and bland games. Not bad games, but it's mostly games you play between great games.

Carmageddon fits right in.

Strong emphasis on sitting on. I really want to believe they'll get things moving with regard to games like Second Sight, TimeSplitters, etc. but right now it very much seems like a big scoop crane taking occasional dips into the IP graveyard just to do a "Look what we got and you didn't!" dance to anyone else looking to grab those IPs and do something with them.
Wow... Didn't see that coming.
I'm still waiting my boxed copy of Carmageddon: Reincarnation from the kickstarter campaign, I wonder wat0s going to happen now...

To be clear: This is THQ Nordic. What used to be Nordic Games bought the rights to the THQ name (as well as a lot of the game rights that THQ hadn't sold off before going kaput). So, no relation to the old THQ, really, apart from them owning some of the same games.

I generally agree with you on their catalogue being kind of uninteresting, but that's pretty subjective. =)
