Curious as to what people think of the Humble Jingle Jam this year.

I don't know much about the games, but I love that Guild Wars Nightfall and Eye of the North are included lol. I've been playing a lot of GW recently and it's nice to see the game getting some love.
DRM. DRM as far as the eye can see. AKA, nearly valueless. It has, what, one real DRM-free product in there? Not worth a dime.
Even if you take into consideration the DRMed games, I still don't consider the bundle worthwhile. I checked out the Yogcast bundles from the previous two years, and they contained maybe 2-3 games, that I really wanted. The rest were worthless games I'll never play or extra crap, like vouchers and skins.

Don't get me wrong, it's great that they dedicate a whole month of their time to charity, and the developers/publishers giving away their work free, also deserve to be praised. But when it comes to value, the bundle isn't worth it.

About Guild Wars, Celton88, how do you find the game? I know it's an MMO, but do you find that you can complete the content alone or are you tied to other players? If the game could function in single player, when the servers eventually get shut down, I could add it to my wishlist. Who knows, maybe I'll live long enough to play it.

I know that the game and its expansions have been discounted appropriately(75%-80%) on STEAM, so it might not be worth getting the bundle just for the GW expansions.

Can you folks go a day without pissing on about DRM. Get over yourselves already.

The bundle doesn't look like much to me personally. However, if it's your thing I say go for it.

I really like GW1, I haven't played 2. The devs said that they've automated the servers for GW1 and it costs very little for them to maintain, so the game will remain running for the foreseeable future.

The game can be played solo, instead of teaming up with other players you use henchmen and heros on your party. Nevertheless, you need to be online to play. There is still a pretty active, though smaller, community that plays and is pretty friendly. However, if you don't plan on playing soon I wouldn't recommend you getting it. It isn't a game that will last forever.
A CALL OF DUTY ADDITIONAL SALUTE GESTURES DLC PACK !!! TAKE MY MONEY TAKE ALL MY MONEY !!!!

It's kinda sorta relevant to the subject, unlike your incessant dickishness.

Oh, and the bundle looks like it sucks, DRM or not. Then again, I can't even remember the last good looking bundle from Humble.

No. This is a DRM-Free site dedicated to FCKDRM. Yet you keep expecting something different.

The worst thing is that, since the beginning, there hasn't been ONE DAY, even just ONE DAY, on this forum, without some people going videogame this or videogame that, or computer computer computer. It's distressing.

^ Said the guy on a website specifically dedicated to DRM-Free gaming... ;-)

It's entirely relevant though as a reason to specifically shop at Humble. Eg, if Humble's Bioshock didn't have a DRM-Free version I wouldn't have bought it there. And if a bundle appeared with Bioshock 1 & 2 in DRM-Free (exclusive to Humble), I would buy it even if it were priced higher than the same DRM'd games on Steam. But if they lacked a DRM-Free version, then I wouldn't. So DRM-Free (especially for games not on GOG) has an obvious impact on whether to buy them in a Humble Bundle or not if they are the only games you're interested in and the rest of the bundle is unwanted "filler".

That's like asking why people in a Pottery Barn are talking about tiny pillows.
I still don't know who Yogscast are and with their curation quality I don't care to either...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, thanks.
