I just downloaded the Epic Games client (only for the sake of curiosity ... I'll always be faithful to GOG.com!), and I was immediately impressed by how good the U.I. looked when compared to Galaxy. I think the Galaxy developers should follow in the footsteps of Epic Games and make a few tweaks to their system (aesthetically speaking). You can start by ditching the old purple logo, and move the menu to the left-hand side. I think Galaxy would look much better if the menu options (library, home, etc) have their own separate pages (like the Epic Games client). Keep in mind that this is only one person's opinion, but I hope the developers of Galaxy will start focusing more on aesthetic appeal in the coming months, rather than only dealing with minor bug fixes. Granted, bug fixes are important, but so is visual presentation. I think the same thing can be said about the design of the website.

There's just something about the Galaxy client that looks dated to me. I actually think it looks way better than Steam, but I still think they have a lot of visual kinks to work out. I realize that this is mostly a personal preference thing for most people, but I'm also not a fan of the small circular icons for each game. Come to think of it, I'm not really a fan of the larger icons either. I wish they made the icons look more like a rounded square (similar to the GOG logo on the website). I also find the game list (on the left hand side) too small. They should expand the menu bar by a few centimeters, and allow you to rename the games anyway you want.

* I also like the way Epic Games has blended (integrated) the top bar directly into the menu bar. It's easier on the eyes.

Not on any other store, so I can't compare. Don't really care about the icons but circles are more natural and as such more pleasing? That rounded square looks kinda ugly. But then again, I wouldn't pay attention to that anyway, as long as I have the name of the game which I can click. What to you mean, "too small"? If you need more length, you can make the window larger. If you need more width...you are out of luck, I guess. I always support customizability, so choosing width, colours, names etc should of course be possible.

By the way, I hate how GalaxyCommunications.exe lingers around for ~1 minute after quitting Galaxy. It's extremely irritating and I always have to kill the process.

It would be cool to see the option to select from the following icons.

- Circle
- Square
- Rounded Square
- Rectangle
- Rounded Rectangle

Selecting the size would also be great (much like icon sizes in Windows), but perhaps we're asking too much.
