tburger: But Tropico 4 was released in 2011...
Yeah, but Judas didn't say it for a classic release. (Plus GOG says that 3 years or older qualifies for "old" at least)

Personally I'm not all that excited for T4 when compared to SimCity 4 or various other city-building games. (SC4 would be highly welcome from me, but it would suggest to me that GOG couldn't get Simcity 3000 running which is a little saddening.)

But I'll hedge my bets for T4 or Patrician 4, too. (I do have a bit of a bad taste in my mouth from Kalypso because of Omerta: City of Gangsters, though.)

If it is Tropico 4 (though Caesar IV could be another possibility), I wonder how are they going to release it here? $19.99 for the base game and $14.99 for the DLC? Or only the Gold/Collector/Whatever Edition for $29.99? Or perhaps it would be even more expensive? So many questions...

Tropico 4 Collector's Bundle is $40 on Steam, I'd assume that's what they'd do, probably with a release-day discount.

The game has a 78/100 Metacritic which ain't bad, but only 139 wishlist votes. (Better than Patrician 4, but still...) Plus for me it's yet another "not-big-publisher" game sadly.

Ah, I see. Tropico 4 Collector's Bundle is €27.99 for me, so I thought it was $29.99. Seems to be €39.99 for other European countries, though.
I've only played SimCity 2000, but It would be great to see SimCity 3000 or SimCity 4 on GOG! Which game is better?

Melhelix: Quake 1-4! Just as the hint has nothing to do with sports, similarly it actually has nothing to do with building either. It was all a red herring! It's raining herrings! Muahahahahaha!
Right! It must be Quake! Theres nothing to build but they come anyway... At least I wanna have it!
Or it's SimTower! I wanna have that too! :)

According to the reviews both of them are very good (I've only played 3000 a looong time ago, so I looked into proffesional reviews).

That would be so cool if GOG could get the entire Quake series. Quake 1 is one of my favorite games!
Seems likely that it is Tropico 4. Amazon seems to have a DRM free download available, and it would be unusual (though not unheard of) for GOG to release a sequel before its predecessor, i.e. Sim City 3000. I sure would prefer it to be Sim City 4 though (Amazon has a DRM free download of that available too FWIW).

That's why I don't have high expectations.
Might be a 4X game... just a thought.
Civ 4, with 2k Games finally on GOG. (Yah, right...)

Ghorpm: ArcaniA (as Gothic 4)
I am sure that GOG have already knocked that one on the head for not meeting their "high" standards. Or something smiler.

It's probably the price. Otherwise, we wouldn't have seen such masterpieces like Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods here.

Yeah, GOG could use a lot more 4X games! It's too bad GOG doesn't have the Civ series.
