JinseiNGC224: Oddly enough...

This has a GOG purchase icon: http://www.mobygames.com/game/sid-meiers-pirates-

fortune_p_dawg: That';s already here, lol! But it would be cool if it was the remake.

:-)
Oops, wrong link

EDIT: Though it looks like the new one and old one have the same link? I'm confused.

LucasArts confirmed! =P

Two very similar links, but different games. I'll assume the GOG icon means the old one, not the newish one. The links all end up being the old one, even when I link the newer one.

When you do a search on moby and see the different titles, you get two different games listed, but they all come out with a GOG icon even when different. A bit confusing to a potential customer. They all end up at the same game, even when you mean it to be the newer one. It's very odd. I was staring at the 2004 game's page and it said GOG.com. Must be an error.

EDIT: Someone do a search on Moby and click on the newest Sid Meier's Pirates! and tell me if it say's GOG.com for you or not. The link for it only leads to the original, not the newer one.

Both of your links lead to Microprose's Pirates game. Admittedly though, this one does have the GOG icon. Strange...

That's the one I tried to link, and I did link it. It came out as the old one. Not sure what happened when I linked it, but I triple checked and it was the newer one I linked.

And what you mention is what I originally noticed. It's either wrong, or it's what's coming. If it doesn't show up someone will have to fix it.

I think we need to look beyond Sid Meier's Pirates and Monkey Island because of the sheer implications that it would mean either 2K or LucasArts which is highly doubtful.

Age of Pirates maybe.

Without getting your hopes TOO high, let me point to you to this post.

Yeah, that's what led me to believe this could mean a possible release.

Either way's fine with me, even if one or the other is more likely :)

The mistake you did is that you didn't include the hyphen as part of the link. If you hover your mouse over the two links, you'll notice that they are exactly the same.

Emotion is not a significant factor here :)

IAmSinistar: I think the Edward Hopper painting "Nighthawks" might have been a fun hint. :)

Meanwhile, bring on today's hint!

Kinda sounds like a propeller plane flying by, so I'm guessing Knights of the Sky, 1942 Pacific Air War, European Air War or the original B-17 Flying Fortress. Or maybe a chopper (Gunship).

What? No E-MO-SHION?
