Digitally maybe... but not all there games require it. Oblivion, Fallout 3, Morrowind... can all be bought physically without steam. Only there newer games is this not true outside of ESO which I believe does not require steam.

Again I would still say this is more to do with Steam being the top dog in digital sales and because of what features it offers than anything else. For most developers selling digital games on Steam is just easier...

Those other digital stores are just selling a steam key, this means they probably don't even have anything to do with Bethseda at all... they bought keys from Steam and are reselling these keys to you. I doubt they even had to work out a deal with Bethseda since there not actually providing the game to you.
On Steam Hexen is still sold through ID not Activision, so I doubt that would be wrong. Wiki is can be not accurate.

I know about the physical part and that's why I said digitally. But even for physical copies, there is a worrying trend with rereleases demanding Steam (like Doom 3 BFG Edition or the recent Morrowind rerelease). I don't care about the reason they are doing this, but only about the results and the message from those results is crystal clear: "If you don't like Steam, tough luck buddy, cause you ain't playing shit." Other companies use Steam a lot like Deep Silver for example. But even Deep Silver has games that don't demand Steam, like Risen, Paraworld and Anno 1503. Bethesda has nothing.

Oh I get that... I would much rather see there games on GOG without steam. I actually made the choice to give up my steam games and remove steam (including Skyrim) from my PC. I'm just pointing out that there are valid reasons for sticking with steam for digital games over any other store that has nothing to do with DRM. So while I think it's unlikely they will come to GOG, I don't think Bethseda really cares really where there digital games are sold as long as they get a lot of sales and can pretty much get any feature they would like to use for there games... and unfortunately right now that means Steam.

GOG expanding will hopefully make publishers like Bethseda take them more serious as a digital storefront. Sales its what is going to change things, and right now GOG can't match Steam. Even though GOG does just fine on it's own.

I doubt that is the case. We have Daikatana and Anachronix here and they both use id Tech engines. The most likely reason is just that Bethesda/id retained the rights when publishing the games, which is unfortunate for Raven Software.

Would be nice to see as it has no digital platform and possible as only Activision and Raven would be involved. It was a sad day when I purchased the Heretic collection and it was missing, however, ID doesn't have the rights and so it can't be sold by them or Bethesda.

And don't forget about the Catacombs Pack, which is actually made by id, but they don't have the rights to it.

I would prefer a release of the Call of Duty War Chest than any Bethesda games .

Anyway back on topic,
I actually would not mind it being Sudeki as it looks quite good for a game brought out in 2009 and I feel my shelf could give it a nice home.

At this point, I might be disappointed if it isn't Sudeki. I might not have heard of it before it was mentioned here, but now I just want to play it. Fingers crossed.

Often perspectives of games can change from time to time, and the older we get the more we tend to notice things in games that we may not have noticed when we were younger. I never got to play it back in the day so I might give it a go myself if it indeed comes here this week. The main reason I own hundreds of games on GOG is to experience games I never got to or to simply give games a second chance after I admittedly dropped them before I gave them enough respect and attention.
