I wonder whether it's drawing on that line about the future being already here, just not evenly distributed.

A wishlist search for 'future' produces games like Future Cop: LAPD and The Terminator: Future Shock but suggests that the most logical fit for that is, er, https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/future_classics_collection

A few of you have mentioned that and it seems as good a guess as anything else I can think of.

In that case - and I hope this IS the case, the return of a pulled title - I'll put out there as my guess the O:FP / ArmA games.

Likely? Not bloody. But a man can dream, right?
