Could it be Myth ?
The french name for the game is Myth: Les Seigneurs Damnés" (the Damned/Cursed Lords)

The Creed is pretty difficult to find on Google or Moby Games, especially considering that almost all of the results are for the latest Assassin's Creed title or the whole Assassin's Creed series.

I'd be damn happy to get that one in here, though chances are slim; the hint is probably for some other somewhat obscure game that another user will get excited about.

EDIT: As you can see, by the link I posted, the Moby Games entry for the game doesn't even feature screenshots.
