I think GOG decided to go for the jump scares in these last times. Still, if it were a big grab like Bethesda/id, you'd think there would be something.
Maybe because, in the first years, they over-hyped some of new releases. That brought them quite a lot of criticism.
Marketing wasn't really their strong point. I can still remember the time they decided to shutdown the website because a "new GOG was coming" - bad memories, indeed :(
