JudasIscariot: Wouldn't debut be a proper word to use for any game that wasn't here before? :)
fortune_p_dawg: Has anyone guessed correctly yet?
We're pretty sure it's still up in the air. The best guesses have been Wizardry 1-5, and Arcania (Gothic 4).
The reasons for Wizardry, I think, is that it's five games, when there were five discs. The only serious problem with this is I know the first five Wizardry titles pre-date CD's, at least I'm pretty sure they do (correct me if I'm wrong).
Also, while I've never played these, I was curious about the dark robed "You,hero, fetch" setup. What games have dark robed fetch quest givers? I don't really know, but one of the most famous villains in all the Wizardry titles was Werdna:

Also, keep in mind the walls in the beginning of the instagram video. It looks like something out of Wizardry, but also other titles like Dungeon Master, among probably many others.
Why did people guess Arcania? Aside from it having lots of fetch quests, quest givers had yellow exclamation marks above their heads, something I don't know whether or not are in the Wizardry titles or not.
So, overall:
It's a game, or games, that has something to do with 5, unless the discs only represent retrieving something and the 5 means nothing.
It's a game where quest/adventure givers may have exclamation points above their heads.
There may be dark robed quest givers, or dark robed guys are at least present in the game.
Aside from that, I have questions for anyone who may be able to guess:
The font and style of letters used at the beginning of the instagram. Are there any classic dungeon crawlers, adventures, or RPG's that had lettering/font like that?
Are there any dark robed quest givers in classic computer RPG's or adventures?
