Where would the console part fit in? Unless it's to throw us off the track but i think it's the Star Wars part that was made to throw us off since the hint was made during the Lucas Arts/Star Wars releases here on gog.
Anyway, has anyone already made the joke about the pc port for Rogue Squadron 2 and 3? That would be nice...

I think Gog is going to start up a new site specifically for emulated console games for the PC. The first title for this new site would be God of War, like what Grargar said earlier except it wouldn't be a PC port, it would be the rom of the PS2 original wrapped up in an executable emulator program. Similar in concept to how Gog uses DosBox for its Dos games.

Hyperdimention Neptunia is currently on sale on Steam. Fingers crossed it is a pre-empt to becoming available here on GOG, and finally putting this Enigmatic hint to rest.

Putting aside whether or not such a release is likely, assuming it actually does happen, I think we can expect it to be the most polarizing release to date. I remember the backlash Long Live the Queen received and that game (at least to my knowledge) doesn't even contain anything really objectionable. I mean, sure, Neptunia is by no means outright porn, but it still features underage-looking girls in skimpy outfits. Considering this, such a release would all but ensure an explosive backlash.

That said, one could have said the same about Agarest and the reaction to that was...practically indifferent. Most of the release thread was spent talking about the gameplay and the grinding DLC that wasn't released on GOG and almost no one brought up the by no means modestly-dressed girls. Then again, in Neptunia, the skimpy outfits are much more at the forefront.
