The only delayed game coming to my mind is DROD 4: Gunthro and the Epic Blunder. I was expecting it on September 9th. I know that DROD 5: The Second Sky is on the way too, but with later, currently unknown release date. Seeing a DROD 4+5 set instead of two games separatedly would be nice!
What is delayed? DROD or something else? Are you going to keep more Deadly Rooms of Death in secrecy until release?
This would be awesome. I have this game on 3 CDs (base game and both expansions). I think it works on my current PC with Vista 32-bit (at least it worked whan I tried it for the last time), but it runs too fast.

If I told you what is delayed, then the hint wouldn't be very enigmatic, now would it? :DWhat is delayed? DROD or something else? Are you going to keep more Deadly Rooms of Death in secrecy until release?

I'll try it again.
What about Magicka freed from the Steam bonds? (I know there are only 4 magicians - yet.)
There is already a DRM free Android game: http://squaretablet.magickagame.com/
so why not a DRM free PC version on GOG-Galaxy?
I dare to dream....

Maybe the hint is more about Megadeth than 5 Magics?
As in usually associated with the projected death toll of thermonuclear war soo... I dunno
Armageddon Man (a.k.a Global Commander apparently)
http://www.mobygames.com/game/global-commander
Or the triumphant return of the Fallouts and the welcoming of Bethesda?

Hmmm... The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the cover was the old X-COM games: UFO Defense, Terror from the Deep and Apocalypse.

Cinemaware's Deathbringer, maybe ?
(Also known as Galdregon's domain. It involves fighting an evil wizard, seeking five gems. )

dare I give into hope?
Wizardry 1-5
If it does turn out to be Wizardry 1-5. For the love of all that is holy and unholy please GOG team set the Dosbox configs to CGA mode(machine=CGA) so the games don't display that god awful shades of purple(setting it to CGA mode forces Wizardry 1-5 to use a alternate set of CGA colours)..
see here Wizardry 1 and 5 running under Dosbox in CGA mode:

Exoanthrope: Wow, I never knew that. To be honest, those blinding shades of cyan and magenta are fairly nostalgic for me, but the alternate looks pretty tight.
I'm still holding out for Wizardry as well.
Yeah I learned about it last year by accident actually. I figured since Wizardry 1 was released during the time when PC's had composite monitors(and Wizardry 2-5 use the same engine) I figured that the few graphics it does have may have been designed to make use of composite monitors which would take the four colors displayed by the CGA card and "smudge" them to make more colors(Ultima 2 and 3 made use of this feature but Dosbox can't simulate this trick for those games) just fiddled with the settings in Dosbox and set it to CGA mode which according to Dosbox wiki typically would try and emulate composite CGA colors, sadly it didn't make the composite colors but it did force the game to display it's non-composite CGA color set. I'm still holding out for Wizardry as well.
Basically Wizardry 1-5 had three sets of graphics a default CGA color set which is red, green and what looks to be a whitish blue, the CGA colors it will display for use with composite monitors which is the horrid color scheme we usually see(again they are meant to be "smudged" to make different colors by the monitor) and monochrome. But for some reason on anything other then a CGA graphics adapter will cause the game to default to the purple/second/CGA color set for Composite monitors. So by setting Dosbox to CGA mode forces it to display the intended non composite CGA color set.
Sorry for all that I can get a little carried away, but anyway yeah I am hoping for Wizardry's 1-5 been wanting them since we get Wizardry 6-8 last year.
