EnforcerSunWoo: Galaxy will most likely launch next week. Also prepare for many new games, as well as multiplayer updates to previous releases. A special sale would also not be out of the question, so don't be surprised if a whole Galaxy related event is planned for next week.
*SQUEE*

I WAS just going to leave it at that but I got thinking - how come these placeholder pages don't show up in MaGOGs logs?
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread/post3564

Or DO they...

*Edit*
MaGOGs database actually lists 843 entries but I couldn't spot anything new and unannounced

But that includes DLC and removed games so MY best guess is that, due to changes to the site and database some hidden entries (DLC or removed games) have become visible to the game count, sadly

IronArcturus: GOG getting Take Two and 2K games would be great!
Yes, but with the consequence of me becoming broke. I need more self control before theythey can come here.

Shambhala: I know, but there was no hint for it since it had been announced by the developers that it was going to be here.
Maybe the same is going on with next week's release, that would explain the lack of hints.
Or Judas is lazy :P

Grargar: The hint for this week was the Hugo trilogy which was released on Tuesday. Enigmatic Hints are not Thursday exclusives. :P
Right, but how does that disprove what I said? :)
Random guess for next week:
Mafia 1 ;)

Chimerical: ...
I think there are numerous other Apogee games still not here, but it's unclear whether or not all will be added.

I certainly hope we get a couple of highly-desired freeware games this year like last, and from Apogee's (or perhaps 3D Realms' now) catalog Halloween Harry and Bio Menace are probably the most-desired freeware games.

I think that's a solid and safe answer, one necessary so we don't get our hopes too high. If it's only multiplayer updates to games (we know D:OS is getting it) and no celebratory releases of highly-desired games, I will be a tad disappointed (though maybe that's unappreciative) though.

However, I do still find it strange that 2K bothered to have DRM-free versions of a few games in their recent bundle; why not just have Steam keys like basically any other major publisher?

And wouldn't Judas have just flat out explained the error? :-P

Hmm... Maybe not having a hint IS the hint? :o

No, it's because I already random guessed it. :p
Here's a suggestion as to why the game count shot up: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread/post3568
Super Time Force Ultra is set for release tomorrow, and since they do refer to themselves as STFU, it is possible that we may be getting it tomorrow.
On the other hand, the site makes no references to GOG, and the game does use some Valve characters (Pyro, Zoey and Saxton Hale).

This would be the best hint ever.

I think that was the old, DOS based X-Com games though, wan't it? Because that use DOSBox they are effectively DRM free even on Steam anyway - you can just grab the game files and run them by themselves, independent of Steam so, given that Steam offers them no 'protection' anyway I guess it was easier to negotiate...

Yeah, but even so I don't think most other major publishers even bother with DRM-free installers in Humble Bundles; usually it has just been Steam keys. I just find it kind of strange considering the pattern I recall seeing in the past.

Nothing against the game itself, but it would be nice to have a big release of some kind, too, to celebrate Galaxy.
