You should also consider

- in game credits
- in game "health" insurance ( allowing to save the game)
- designing the game around different packages, each package including an amount of credits, one or more insurances, exclusive hats for the game characters, ans specific weapons / tower designs / tileset

using crowdfunding and being viral on forums will allow you to set increasingly high funding targets, each target introducting a new type of packages. Soon you could find yourselve definig an increase of funding needs of 1.000.000 to include a rare plant species to your game

How will game cards work? Will you need to pay others to take them off your hands, and the more you have the slower you progress?
If those are "yes" and "yes", I'm sold!

I understand that it's only in concept phase, but I'm really-really badly itching to pre-order this exceptional and truly unique game.

Cards will work exactly that way, unless you have purchased a separate card slot for each one. Card slots come in three levels (Tin, Copper, Platinum), each of which unlocks a different card ability. You can also earn these by grinding in the game. It takes about 500 hours to grind up to an Ore card slot, and when you have enough they can be smelted into one of the usable types. For example, 20 Ore card slots make 1 Tin.

I was ready to start throwing money at my screen, but that substantial 5% discount is quite off putting, you should consider an at least equal price increase instead, would ensure the game sells like hot cakes during Early Access Alpha. ;-)

The Founder edition will be available for a limited time only. Next year, you might have to buy a supporter edition , with a inflation adjusted price, reduced by 6.8%. By 2024, the "semper fidelis edition" , will allow late believers who have seen the light to benefit from a generous reduction of 23% on the inflation adjusted price of the early bird version. As all versions will have exclusive bonusses, be sure ti buy them all. And spread the word !

Our activation servers will include the latest SecuBuy technology, which guarantees your copy is authentic. This is in the customer's best interest, after all. You get once chance to register your simple 128-character key through our patented HardCaptcha system, and if it fails, you can purchase another attempt. This ensures that only genuine customers are registered. (Just don't ask how or why it does.)
