JinseiNGC224: I think it would be good to have all the Nancy Drew games here on GOG. Six are on steam (maybe that's all of them?), and they're quite affordable. The same goes for the Sherlock Holmes games. and oddly enough there's six of those as well. They might not be the best of the best with some better than others in the series, but I think it's good to have games like this here, especially since we already have one from each series.

It's there, loud and clear!

But frankly, it's hard for a lot of people to wishlist a game if they know nothing about it, and most people don't go out of their way to read up on games they know nothing about, aside from the elite few. And not everyone utilizes the wishlist who would buy the title. So the chance of many games coming here, based off the wishlist, seems pretty slim :(

All of them,... not really : http://www.herinteractive.com/shop-games/desktop-games/

30 games in total, two of them not published anymore (Secrets can Kill and stay tuned for danger )... and I thing another one in the pipeline as well ... The older games are a bit pricey (9.99), the newer are 19.99.

But, yes, if we could have them. And the Laura bow mysteries....

That's a lot of games! It would be quite the catalog addition indeed :)

And here I thought I was the only one who loved the ND games and wanted them here :)

Never, don't you know it is going to be perpetually in beta. ;P

Asked this in another thread and never got an answer. Would like to see the wishlist get cleaned up and improved, but I guess the beta is good enough for gog users...

When the Mac games stop being "New". :P

I think GOG could use more variety in it's collection of adventure games. That goes for style of game, the demographics, and any other unique trait for a particular game or series.

Oddly enough, according to Wikipedia the Nancy Drew adventure games have garnered a strong female following, and I'm pretty sure most of the GOG crowd is by far male. Go figure that they don't care for them as much :)

Your not alone, MadyNora!

Grargar: The difference between Theme Park and SimCity 4 was 5 months, while the difference between Pandemonium 2 and Hitman: Contracts was 9 months. Meanwhile, we haven't seen a Ubisoft game for 11 months and an Activision game for 20 months. It's not quite the same, I'm afraid.

Fever_Discordia: It was recently pointed out to me that Activision are in the middle of divorcing themselves from Vivendi so maybe they've been a bit tied up there, maybe they're not even sure how rights will be split, actually...
The hold-up probably has to do with the fact that there is no one at Activision handling the classic games division any more. Whoever was working with GOG to get these old games released either quit, or was reassigned to the Call of Duty or Skylanders divisions.

There must be a fanclub somewhere, otherwise they wouldn't have made 30 of them, and they wouldn't be around for more than 15 years...

The big advantage to have them here would of course to be able to download them at will, as the publisher sells them through Digital river (= extended download service of 5 years for a fee )
Yeah, absolutely, I hope those groovy guys at Night Dive can sort something out but my point that not all the Fox rights transitioned smoothly to Activision via Vivendi still stands, not sure if its just because Monolith is so closely tied to WB these days, though...

It would be nice to see some of the spam-bot posts removed from the wishlist(The ones to 3rd party sites selling shoes and the like.) and some of the duplicate entries merged... or, if not merged have them retain the entry so that those who know the product under the alternate spelling/name/etc still find it but that wishlist entry now re-directs to what is considered the wish for that product. (Still may be a bit messy but at least the votes and comments would all be in the same place.)

Just a thought. -_^

Alas, it's been going for so long and GOG does nth about it, don't quite understand that they don't realise that it's hurting their image - the latest I found was about acquiring fake documents! ಠ_ಠ

They don't check it themselves, so users are more or less forced to police spam in the wishlist by use of the report button. I have done so on a few occasions while looking into certain games on the wishlist.
