mqstout: Civ 4, with 2k Games finally on GOG. (Yah, right...)
I bought it 3 times already (boxed original, boxed complete edition, and steam) but it would be an instabuy on GOG.
But after the day 2K games sells here I'll never go out without an umbrella to protect me from pig poo.
Nice! It's SimCity 4!
NEVER would have guessed that. I was blown away.

Hopefully with Z coming to Steam next week, GOG will have it appear too or won't be far behind, at least.

I wonder if the prior week's hint about construction was intended to imply SimCity 4 but the release was slightly delayed. It's speculating but if release dates are that unstable (?) no wonder we don't get more hints.

Yes, bring on Z!

I'd like to see what the fuss is all about behind Z, but Steam's release date is on Saturday and, as far as I know, GOG doesn't release games on Saturday.

Oh, YES. With a struck of luck they'll add vanilla version along with remake.

EDIT:

I don't know how others but my 'pain limit' (price) is higher for vanilla version that remake. Ah well, likely G-Doc will post next hint soon and we will find out.

That would actually make a lot of sense.

It's a fun strategic game, somewhat simplified over others. A bit like the boardgame Risk in a way. I'll be glad to see it land here, it'll be an instant purchase for me.

Actually it's a Friday. So maybe GOG can get it a day or two early.

EDIT: Okay, you're in Greece so maybe it would be a Saturday for you? I don't know how all this time-y stuff works. :P

No, I don't think so. Calendar-365.com agrees with me.

You can check out my attached image to see what my computer shows, at least. ;)

But back on the thread topic (kind of), G-Doc wrote this - https://www.facebook.com/gogcom/posts/10152055441547657

Me: "Freakin' SimCity 4 - G-Doc (or other staff member) give my regards and thorough congratulations on this release. I sincerely hope the way it seems to be selling like hotcakes will re-invigorate "big" publishers to bring many more classics. (To me it felt like it had been way too long; Square Enix's Hitman Contracts was the last one I'd consider from a "big" publisher.)"

G-Doc: "Hi Tyler! Not to spill out too much detail, but: all is well GD"

Well, that is at least a positive indication of things to come. Maybe some of the higher priority titles on the wishlist from EA, Ubisoft, and Activision will start appearing sooner or later.

Oh, I see. Steam is being particularly cheeky with all this regional crap. Z's release date shows as 7 June for me on Steam.

Here is your Enigmatic Hint for next week's classic.
