WinterSnowfall: It's not bad... but don't you feel that something is missing? Do I have to say it for you? :D

do you know something that i don't?! omg
I have to say this is the best sale I seen yet, The prices are better the deals are bigger and every single game is pretty much on sale almost.

GG gog, GG
I’m so cheap that I ate baked beans today just so I could have a bubble bath tomorrow. So far I’ve bought 1 game and got 2 free. That will change soon though. I’ve written a list and plan to strike every game off by the end of the sale. Today the King’s Bounty standalone games Warriors of the North and Dark Side caught my eye, and Crookz looks good too. Also Shovel Knight is on sale, which doesn’t happen often.

Nope. Not more than SCPM has uncovered anyway. I'm just waiting for it to get here already!

Breja: And without any annoying "mystery game" gimmicks or time limited offers.

sunshinecorp: This. This actually made me spend money on this sale even though I didn't plan to. No time limits, no random games, no insomnia crap.
Same for me, except for the "didn't plan to"-part. It's a smooth sale that actually gives you the time to make an informed buying decision, as opposed to the insomnia sales that were more like a lottery than a sale. Also they made it appear that the games sold here were of limited quantity, though they are digital goods which most important characteristic is that they are virtually infinite. And if you're not having access to a computer while at work. you missed out on great deals. Not me at the time, but I always felt it was unfair.
The community was great though, during that days.

Are you sure this is the best sale?

Jack Keane 2 isn`t on sale ;)
I haven't bought all that much, but it's a far cry from GOG's usually frustrating gimmick sales. Unfortunately much of my wishlist is still rather expensive and I'm waiting on better discounts.
Very good sale: I've resisted temptation completely!

The sales where I can't resist - very bad sales.
Not true. Best sale, even though i didn't get the package i wanted, was the one with the entire collection of Square Enix games. And another solid one was past Halloween's; that one destroyed my savings and my free time, like completely.

fronzelneekburm: Not sure I'd call it the best sale ever... the original Insomnia sale was just crazy awesome and I always had good luck during those "Pay $2 for a surprise game" promos. But this is definitely their customer-friendliest sale yet: no gambling, no time limits, no artificial scarcity. Instead, it encourages you to check for new deals every day. If you can control your impulses just a tiny bit, you can make an informed choice on the final day of the sale. Afraid you'll blow on your savings during the early part of the sale and won't have any money left when they inevitably drop the Bethesda and EA backlogs at the end of the sale? Well, worry not! Because this sale gives you the chance to set your priorities straight. And for that, I really appreciate this sale format!
Yeah, pretty much this. No RNG BS, no mad frantic dashes to get in on a sale before it goes away, and nothing like the ridiculousness of Jack Keane 2. Apart from the glitches with some prices being changed and sales/bundles disappearing, it definitely is one of the best sales they've had in recent memory.
Add to this I just got paid 6 months worth of delayed salary. Sure, it's not like anyone else noticed, but it's made this one awesome for me.

Dear Sir, When I was at school, I played Jack Keane 2 regularly every thirty minutes, and it never did me any harm - except for psychological maladjusunent and blurred vision.

Yours truly,
General Jack Keane (Retired), Chairman of the Institute for the Study of War
