All-new gameplay footage with developer commentary + Q&A session on Twitch.tv/GOGcom!

This coming Monday, GOG.com and CD PROJEKT RED invite you to a special live streamed event at the GOG.com Twitch channel!

We'll be showcasing 15 minutes of completely fresh The Witcher: Wild Hunt gameplay highlights, while Damien Monnier - Senior Gameplay Designer, and Miles Tost - Level Designer, will be coming in live from the studio to provide developer commentary for the new footage. They'll be offering their insight, and an exclusive peek at the development process behind closed curtains at CD PROJEKT RED.

Once the gameplay commentary is finished, we will hold a live Q&A session on the air. Damien Monnier and Miles Tost will take the time to respond to live comments coming in via Twitch chat, as well as to select questions from the GOG.com community forums! It's a rare opportunity to ask about all the saucy details of The Witcher: Wild Hunt development.

If you have any questions for the folks at CD PROJEKT RED, you can submit them right here in this thread. You have until Sunday, Jan 25 at 7:00 PM GMT to submit your questions, when we'll be selecting the most interesting ones to throw at the devs during the live chat.

The live stream will begin on Monday Jan 26 7:00 PM GMT / 2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST (you will find a countdown clock below) at Twitch.tv/GOGcom. Follow our channel for an e-mail alert when we go live. We'll see you there!

Guys, don't ask spoiler questions like; will this happen, will we see this place, this character... Why would you want to spoil the surprise?

- I want to know how hard the game is, because I want it to be very hard.
- Will the cat potion have that same visual effect it had on TW2?

I have a question: Can we been an auditor in Oxenfurt ?
Questions:
Will enemies sometimes flee from combat when the odds are against them?
Can you fight human enemies and monsters at the same time?
Can you lure monsters into a group of human enemies and vice versa?

Thank you for doing this event, i can't wait till Monday!
Assuming that you'll be showcasing the PC build of the game it also would be just splendid if you could use a keyboard and a mouse.

Thanks in advance.

Will Geralt's old deceased friends be mentioned (Cahir, Milva, Angouleme and Regis?)
It would be nice to see them somehow. Maybe by flashbacks ot memory sequence. Perhaps in dlc or independent adventure.
60-something questions already! I'm going to do my best to stay on top of 'em over the weekend so all get passed on to the CD PROJEKT RED guys Monday morning to read through and pick from :)
1. Is the economy going to be based upon supply & demand or at least have something better than usually seen in RPGs?

2. Will you be able to use the environment to your advantage in non-combat and combat confrontations?

3. Are there new RPG elements never before seen?

4. Will your choices affect game mechanics?

Will the combat rely on player skills (like unfortunately many RPGs nowdays do) or more on the character's skills, like it should be?
I don't want to have to time precisely several keypresses to make some ubercombo. I actually liked the first Witcher's combat system more than the second.
Will there be any consequences for stealing stuff in front of the owners this time?

I am a great fan of Witcher 3 Wild Hunt and I appreciate the devs for working so hard on this game. One question that has not been answered for a very long time.
Is there any sea combat in Witcher 3? And if there is, can we use magic and bombs while riding on boats.

dStefano: I second SpeeX97's question:

Could you please elaborate more on the system requirements for the pc version?

What minimum requirements imply in terms of resolution and framerate? 900p 30fps with low settings?
What about recommended requirements? 1080p 60fps with most high settings?

We would be glad to know.

A quote from Eador MotBW: "Curse Damien!" :)
Sounds awesome but very bad timing,... this would be a great gift for weekend, now it's just disappointment. No way I will find enough time during the next week, too much work :-/
Will there be a way to get the Collector's Edition through GOG? Or at least order it in a pack that has a GOG key?

rh88user: Also it would be nice to have the option to be able to completely remove the UI to admire the scenery without anything in the way.
This feature was implemented in Witcher 2 too so I guess it will be possible to hide the UI in W3 too.
