All-new gameplay footage with developer commentary + Q&A session on Twitch.tv/GOGcom!

This coming Monday, GOG.com and CD PROJEKT RED invite you to a special live streamed event at the GOG.com Twitch channel!

We'll be showcasing 15 minutes of completely fresh The Witcher: Wild Hunt gameplay highlights, while Damien Monnier - Senior Gameplay Designer, and Miles Tost - Level Designer, will be coming in live from the studio to provide developer commentary for the new footage. They'll be offering their insight, and an exclusive peek at the development process behind closed curtains at CD PROJEKT RED.

Once the gameplay commentary is finished, we will hold a live Q&A session on the air. Damien Monnier and Miles Tost will take the time to respond to live comments coming in via Twitch chat, as well as to select questions from the GOG.com community forums! It's a rare opportunity to ask about all the saucy details of The Witcher: Wild Hunt development.

If you have any questions for the folks at CD PROJEKT RED, you can submit them right here in this thread. You have until Sunday, Jan 25 at 7:00 PM GMT to submit your questions, when we'll be selecting the most interesting ones to throw at the devs during the live chat.

The live stream will begin on Monday Jan 26 7:00 PM GMT / 2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST (you will find a countdown clock below) at Twitch.tv/GOGcom. Follow our channel for an e-mail alert when we go live. We'll see you there!

What about the romance options? How many options are available for romance?
Also,is it true that we can access the whole WITCHER world in this game compared to its previous titles ?
And lastly , what are the system requirements?
You are the best!! LOve you :-)

You can look up the system requirements here.

However, I still don't think it's accurate (even though it's CDProjekt Red's site, but a man can hope) due to the nitpicky optimisation process for millions of unique PC configurations... In fact I think CDP slipped that bit of info just to get some of those questions off them so as not to be bugged so much and get to work on it. (Yes, a man can hope...)

Let them figure it out exactly until the release. :-x

glubbar: Will there be a Linux version of the game at launch, or even a little bit afterwards?

This is important. Linux is the future! :)
That was my question too. I don't think I'll buy more Windows games.
Hi there!

Here's my two questions for tonight's stream:

1) Will we be able to change between playing as Geralt or as Ciri like we could change between Batman and Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City (i.e. can we switch between Geralt and Ciri and then tackle the open world with either one of them without restrictions, or will we only be able to play as Ciri during specific story missions)?

2) Will we be able to continue playing after the ending of the main storyline (i.e. after the credits roll)?

Thanks a lot for hosting this stream and I apologies if these questions have already been asked before!
This is very concerning - the graphics seem to be overwhelmingly downgraded since VGX trailer. The 15 minutes will be shown on what console, or will it be on PC?

Will there be an enhanced edition?
Here's another question, since it just occurred to me:

3) How will we be able to import our world states into The Witcher 3 if we played the previous 2 games? Will it be done through a Witcher 2 save file import, or through a website service, such as Dragon Age Keep?

Thanks a lot!

shmerl: It for sure won't be at launch - there is no doubt about it. It won't be even a bit afterwards. Question about the future is a good one however.
I would like to know this as well. I don't mind if the Linux version is released later, I would just like to know if there will be one at all and a rough time frame. I won't buy the Windows version, but if there's no chance of a Linux version in the next couple of years I might consider PS4.

Did you play TW2 on Tux?
okey i just have a simple question which basically defineds my whole gameplay experience :

Will i be able to import my gear from witcher 2 into witcher 3 ? ( since thats basically the same engine )

And I really want my super awesome armor from Lok Muine, i replayed half of the game for, just to get the materials and money to forge it .. please say yes :3
Just in case you missed it, the 15 minutes of gameplay are up:

I did. I played it when they did the second Linux beta on steam, ran quite well. Played TW1 under wine.
Will the armor from the gameplay demos be in the finished version of the game
What the hell is up with that chat? Just close down that shit.
on witch plateform is the gamplay footage and on with setting
the potion refile themself or you have to collect compo ( i prefer second option )
From today's previews I heard that fighting gameplay is not dumbed down and indeed hard. And Witcher 3 is already big game. So here is the question: if battlesystem constantly will be so challenging, how did you balance it out so it won't become a chore and at some point player just won't give up and quickly finish main story to be done with the game?
