Vakudaka: Can we get the games on GOG Connect for those who have it on steam already?
No! You made your choice.

Paraharaha: You can get The Witcher 1 Enhanced Edition for free here: https://www.gog.com/gwent-welcome-bonus

Getting the newsletter is not everybodies cup of tea...but you can disable it in your personal setting afterwards (IIRC).
Thanks
Still in the middle of my first playthrough of TW3 on Linux (Wine+dxvk). The game is a masterpiece.

For first two games (it works like Connect): https://www.gog.com/witcher/backup

For TW3, you'd need to buy it here.

Alexim: There's only one thing I can't stand:
Agreed. I think everyone with will have one of them shown as not owned depending on how they bought it. For me, it shows I don't own The Witcher 3 while owning the GOTY, and Expansion Pass.

I guess no one at GOG has OCD.

anx: I had the chance to play and finish Witcher 3 thanks to Game Pass (also thanks to CDP for making it available there). Amazing game! I own the first two Witcher games on PC but my PC cannot run Witcher 3.

I will buy Witcher 3 on PC just to complete my collection when I will have a PC capable of running the game. Actually, I wanted to buy the GOTY edition on Xbox in order to play the expansion packs but I changed my mind after I learned that I cannot continue my game because the GOTY version of the game is not compatible with save games of the Game Pass version I played.
It will be worth the wait to play GOTY on a decent PC - the expansions are utterly brilliant (especially the quest 'Dead Man's Party in Hearts of Stone).

Happy birthday, Geralt - thanks for the amazing memories :)
*complains about thing*
Happy Birthday indeed! Tried hard but failed to come with a proper birthday wish for you, sorry!

Ah, yes, that super-obscure, niche gem-in-the-rough that only hipsters have played. :P

Given that actual OCD (as in, not the trivial, self-diagnosed, bullshit kind) means feeling something like "I must turn a light switch on and off exactly 27 times every time I enter my house, or else one of my friends will die in a car crash!", I certainly hope that none of them suffer from it.

Happy birthday Witcher 3. I'll get around to completing you when I get a new gaming PC.

Any chance of the Switch version of Thronebreaker getting a 50% discount as well? That's the only game in the set that I don't have.

I'm well aware of what OCD is. There are many other forms of OCD than the one you described, such as obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. OCPD is when someone is obsessed with order, perfection, and a need for control. A relative of mine was diagnosed with an obsessive-compulsive disorder. She didn't have it her whole life, it didn't start until she was about my age. It was mild and controllable at first, but it continued to get worse as she got older and was diagnosed. Every time I see something like that, even though it's a small annoyance, it reminds me of her and since OCD might be genetic, I worry that I may end up that way.
I think by now everyone and their dog owns all the Witcher games here. Those who don't really should as they are worth it :)
When I first bought the Witcher games, I only did so as part of my GOG introductory sale. I got sick and tired of everyone giving me crap for my love of Bethesda (they still give me crap for that) and insisting that The Witcher 3 is a better game than Fallout 4. Even when I first played W3, it wasn't love at first. Between an annoying installation issue I encountered and the fact that I wasn't expecting the type of experience I got, it took me a while but now, I consider it one of my all-time favorites. Is it better than Fallout 4? Not in my book, but it certainly gives that game a run for its money.

Nowadays, CDPR is in my top 3 favorite companies in the industry (Bethesda, CDPR and Larian are my top 3) and The Witcher 3 is the greatest action-adventure game I've ever played. Even though I've only really played it and Thronebreaker so far, it makes me incredibly proud to own the entire series and to have been able to contribute toward such an amazing company!

happy birthday Witcher!

I sliced through the first two games effortlessly, yet I can't fully dig into Witcher 3 for some reason...

could be that I'm now a married man with a child and I usually have like 20 minutes of time to play a game a couple of days per week? :D

speaking of which - Thronebreaker was also great!
Does anyone know if this is the cheapest the GOTY Edition ever was?
