PaterAlf: Is it possible to play multiplayer mode of Witcher Adventure Game without using Galaxy?
I want to "push" this question up. Someone knows the answer?

This sale marks another milestone in the long-slow march to being able to purchase Witcher 3 and all it's DLC's in one single purchase (GOTY-like), and then hunker down for a quite long play session. I approve - and will continue awaiting that fateful day :)

Meanwhile, I still have time to upgrade my system to even be able to play it..

Is there really nobody who knows the answer?

It seems like the answer is no, of course I can't be sure as I don't own the game.

mrkgnao: When the promo launched this morning, TW3 cost $57.69 in Switzerland and was reduced to $28.79, which is indeed 50% off.

Then a few hours later someone changed the full price in Switzerland to $52.49, but did not change the sale price, resulting in a smaller perceived discount.
Thanks for digging that out. Of course GOG could not have known that price change before the start of the sale. :)

mrkgnao: Apparently it was a bug. Now the sale prices in Switzerland and Norway have been reduced too, and you should be back to 50% discount, paying $2.60 less than practically all of your neighbouring countries (not taking FPP into account).
Unfortunately I cannot benefit from that advantage as I have no platform to run the game. :P
I wonder if the Wine team even will beat CD Projekt Red in making the game playable on Linux.

But at least we still have no regionally different discounts on sales (yet).

There are differences, but they are small (usually less than 10 cents), because the prices in some regions (e.g. US) are rounded to .x9 and in others not.

For example, at the moment, D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die - Season One costs $4.99 (-66%) in US, but $4.94 (-67%) practically everywhere else (except of course Russia etc.).

Yes, of course, beside of the usual rounding differences. But the 5% difference on a high priced game has been in a different league. That has bothered me.

The only option for multiplayer without Galaxy is to play it locally (Hot Seat). There is no LAN/Direct IP option or something similar.
