Win official Witcher jigsaw puzzles and wolf head medallions!

We have a couple more gifts to hand out before our 5th birthday celebration comes to an end. For starters, just to spoil you all, we're giving away a free copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition with every purchase on GOG.com, until Thursday, October 17 at 9:59 AM GMT. If you haven't had the chance yet to meet Geralt of Rivia, the white-haired monster slayer, this is your most affordable ticket to the Witcherverse. That's not all, however. CD Projekt RED was kind enough to share some official Witcher merchandise with us, and we want to give it all away to you, dear users! But, as you may have expected, this does not come without a challenge.

Are you good with pixel-art? This competition is perfect for you! We want to see your Witcher-related pixel-art. Be it scenes, character's, classic 2D or isometric, 8-bit or 16-bit palette, invented game screen-shot mock-ups--it's up to you. There are two important rules: your image needs to be up-scaled x2 (that means 2x2 pixels) after it's done, so it can be viewed without too much squinting, and the resulting up-scaled image must be no larger than 600x600 pixels in size. Apart from that, it's all you and your creativity!

The two top submissions win the official Witcher beautiful jigsaw puzzles, and a code for $9.99 GOG.com game. Three runner-ups get Witcher wolf-head medallions and a $5.99 GOG.com game. You have time until Monday, October 14, at 9:59AM GMT to submit your work in the forum thread below. Good luck, and have fun!

Notice: You retain rights to your submitted work, but by entering the compo you grant us the right to present your submission on our site and social media channels (with all due credit, of course).
Really cool stuff by everyone - congrats to the winners!
Congrats! The winners got truly epic stuff, but there were also some other really cool posts.
Holy crap O_O Thank you so much! I didn't think I'd actually win anything (Finnish pessimism...)

Like Johanz, this is the first time I've won anything in a competition, let alone an art competition!

Congratulations to everyone, good job! All the entries were great, if you ask me :)
Congrats! :)

Well done to the winners - great artwork!
Congratulations to winners.

All of them look really great and I think GOG chose well.

Johanz: Oh holy crap! I came in first!? I think this is actually the first time in my life, that I have actually won a competition in first place! Haha, thanks alot!

Staying up til 08.00 AM in the morning, seems like hard work pays off after all :D

And thanks GOG.com for hosting this great competition! Love these kinds of things. It's good that the competitions are so varied too, like some are more leaned towards artistry and some, like that one not long ago where you had to spot hidden things on game pages.

I guess all the details about the gift code and so on are sent via the PM system on this site? :)
Congrats! You had it coming, I think. That was a grade A example of some mighty fine pixel art! And congratulations to all the other winners too... I'd have bought ALL those games! :)
Yeah, I had the feeling these would be the winning works (I hadn't seen the work that came in 5th place before but damn, that's really good too). All of these are really amazing, good job :)
Personally, I would've switched the 1st with the 3rd, and the 4th with the 5th, but that's just my opinion. Also goes to show that these must have been really hard to judge, since they are all so well done.

Enjoy your prizes! Perhaps post a screenshot of the jigsaw & medallion? I'm curious what they look like :)
I'll do that! Haven't been contacted yet and I dunno when I will recieve the stuff but I'll snap a shot and put it here when I do! :)
I thought about that as well, so yeah, I'll definitely post a picture here when I get the set :)
Just wish I had the time to complete the image before I posted it here.
I don't have time for anything else than my university studies (3D-graphics).

It would be really fun with more compos like this one. Maybe one where we have to paint something, one where we have to sculpt game characters and one where we create 3D game assets?

Would love to see a similar competition but with 3D yes! And preferably one week or two to complete it, haha. 3D scenes and sculpting do take some time~

But I really liked your submission! Your rendering of the forest was mighty fine!
Hi!

I'm terribly sorry for the hold-up with sending out the prizes. I was on a sick leave, but I'm on it now and I'll be contacting all the winners today.

Besides being "on it now", I hope you're also well now :-)
Hey no problem, hope you are feeling better! : D Also, noticed that I haven't been contacted but I assume that's because I already gave you all the contact info and all that in reply to the previous message when you contacted me that I won.

And no need to apologize, I can wait some more! : D A I'm just super greatful that I actually won a competition, haha! : )
