Binders full of fixes.

Gearing up for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone, the biggest game update yet is now available for download.

Altogether, it includes over six hundred in-game changes including quest fixes, performance optimisations, stability fixes and even new conversation options with key game characters. There are quality of life improvements as well, including anticipated new inventory management options.

You can see exactly what's new in the massive, thirteen-page-long changelog.

If you're getting ready to jump into the upcoming Hearts of Stone expansion, make sure to grab Patch 1.10 in the meantime - it's a hefty bunch of fixes, and required to play the expansion.

omega64: You know GOG, if you can't be bothered to provide changelogs for games on GOG maybe stop creating entire topics every time something happens concerning the Witcher 3?
There is a changelog for it in your library.

One thing, well, two: 17 Go as a patch is insane. But it's insane in the good meaning, so I'm okay with that (and my gigabyte internet connexion too ;) )

Second thing: seems that Galaxy has a hell of a problem downloading it right now. I guess everybody wants it and the servers are fully loaded...
17GB are a sign of a bad patchmanagment. Obviously they don't use deltapatching and so they waste bandwidth. But you can easily look up what you would have to download to reinstall the whole game.

Heads up!

GOG Galaxy stops on "Allocating disk" for Witcher 3 installation. Sometimes it will come up with "Server problem."

All other games install normally.

Still can't download the patch via GoG Galaxy, though. GalaxyClient.log has dozens of repeats of

GOG Galaxy ignores requests to install Witcher 3.

Clicking "INSTALL" followed by "CONTINUE" does not do anything. The display states "READY TO INSTALL."

When it isn't ignoring my request, it stops doing anything during the "Allocating disk" phase. I have plenty of free disk space.

You'll get this! :)

No mention of the bug I found last night in the Veni Vidi Vigo quest! You were meant to sneak on to the emperor’s ship to speak to him. I sailed up to it and was spotted, but then they recognised me and stopped firing. Permission to board. Great, I could speak to him. I jumped from my boat onto his deck, tried to talk to him, but he refused. I spoke to a few other characters on the boat, but nothing moved on. Had to look up a walkthrough. The fix? Dive into the water, then “use” the anchor to climb up. Suddenly the emperor would speak to me, and acted as if he hadn’t seen me for ages. Weird! I’ve also had the “continuous jumping Geralt”, and one where, just as a horse race started, suddenly I was underwater and there was no surface so I drowned. None of those three bugs are mentioned in the 13 page PDF, so I wonder how many others there are for the next patch!

And still would love an inbuilt first person mode for wandering round, even if it went to 3rd person for fights (a la Two Worlds 1).

I'm getting "the source file is corrupted" error now. I've tried to redownload the installer but it didn't help. Any ideas?
