Binders full of fixes.

Gearing up for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone, the biggest game update yet is now available for download.

Altogether, it includes over six hundred in-game changes including quest fixes, performance optimisations, stability fixes and even new conversation options with key game characters. There are quality of life improvements as well, including anticipated new inventory management options.

You can see exactly what's new in the massive, thirteen-page-long changelog.

If you're getting ready to jump into the upcoming Hearts of Stone expansion, make sure to grab Patch 1.10 in the meantime - it's a hefty bunch of fixes, and required to play the expansion.

vladmods: You can do it from the main menu, georgmartin. Main Menu - Downloadable Content - Options and from there you can turn them off. I also dislike the alternative outfits for Triss, Yennefer and Ciri. I've even kept the original look of the Gwent cards.

So last night I downloaded the 1.10 patch via GOG downloader, because Galaxy couldn't connect (server overload probably). The patch installed ok. I then fired up Galaxy to see what would happen. Galaxy thought I was on 1.08.4 and tried to redownload the patch, which I canceled. After that Galaxy wouldn't show any version information, but the DLC setting were still the old ones. I was on the beta/overlay channel btw.

I then tried Verify/Repair, and Galaxy downloaded a whopping 15GB... Well I was watching TV with my wife and don't have volume limits, so no harm done... but *wtf*. When this was finished the game version was... 1.08.4? *wat?!*. Quitting/restarting Galaxy would not change a thing, so I switched from the beta-channel to the regular one and Galaxy started downloading 17GB... O_o

Well, game is now patched, but I had to reenable the DLC pack, which lead to another few hundred MB download.
I guess I'll wait for the 13th to play on though :-)

Nice update, however there are still some quest that get stuck in the questlog:
- gangs of novigrad
- some treasure hunts

these are the only bugs left that actually annoy he fuck out of me.

Another bug i should think...

It seems I can't not attack these drowners (I don't remember the place but it's somewhere in Velen). I run to this place and see them just stand still, can't attack or be attacked, and they aren't shown on the mini map either. The game crashed a few second later whenever i travel to this place.

Help, I can't load my previous saves after 1.10 has been automatically installed. It says that I lack 2 quests, i don't find...

Crosmando: It's embarrassing that GOG cannot handle a single big patch for a single big game without server issues and terrible speeds. I mean no wonder they can't compete with Steam and can't attract AAA games, as they obviously couldn't handle them as they're cheaping out on servers and/or Galaxy is just a badly coded piece of shit.

Grooves: First of all, GOG is already light years ahead of Steam.
How so? Steam's servers are capable of handling pretty much anything, even during Christmas sales you barely see much of a blip in download speeds. While on the other hand apparently GOG can barely even handle a single 17GB patch for one game without problems.

GOG need to step up their game and stop giving up indications that they're a bunch of un-professional amateurs rather than the developers of the second biggest PC digital distribution platform.

I am a massive GOG fan and I buy most of my PC games here whenever I can, doesn't mean they're immune from criticism.

Do yourself a favor and google for steam gta v download speed before you make such unreal claims about steam servers :)

I wonder if they fixed that bit in Skellige where there's sea grass floating in mid air?

Also, Has anyone else had the problem in some Gwent games where if you play a healer sometimes it wont' let you progress from there and you have to forfeit the game?

Okay...

tried to play with my exiting plus game.. said I didn't have the installed content for some of the quests. Tried to re-download the DLC but it fails.

Tried to make a new + game... did't have the option.
