Altogether, it includes over six hundred in-game changes including quest fixes, performance optimisations, stability fixes and even new conversation options with key game characters. There are quality of life improvements as well, including anticipated new inventory management options.

You can see exactly what's new in the massive, thirteen-page-long changelog.

Here I am downloading the patch at 50kbps speed. It will take a week for me to finish downloading... :D Do I really need this patch for playing Hearts of Stone?
I don't get it!!
My save game 91.8.04) indicated that the process was 11%. After installing the patch, all of my process has gone back to 0% but my character stats, inventory, quest and so on were still there.
Is the patch incompatible with the Achievement Overlay? The only way I was able to initiate the download of the patch was by disabling the Beta Channels. I thought that I could enable it once again after the update was installed, but it seems it is not the case - as soon as I activate the Beta Channels the client starts to download 16 GB worth of data (on top of 17 GB of patch and 600 MB of the DLCs you need to redownload). Does this mean that you cannot currently use the Achievement Overlay with patch 1.10?

Wrath-Amon: Better to not install this shitty patch. Crashing every 10 mins. Had no problem before.

geniuzpow: Same here before no crash at all. Damn this patch suck my as*.....
Mine was doing that as well but now my game doesn't crash anymore. Was actually able to get a couple of hours in
Might have been answered already, but is DLC now managed in-game? - as you can't choose which DLC is enabled and which isn't in GOG?
^ There is in-game option to turn off alternative looks for Triss, Yen and Ciri, and alternative Gwent cards .

Everything else is enabled by default.

Many thanks! I've not fired it up yet, but I thought this would have to be the case!
This patch is has all patches from the 1st to the current, I have upto 1.8 what happened to doing individual patches? My internet will not support doing such large amount of patches and I have to do them manually because gog gaxaley will not stay online for me. Plus I can only dl this from 2am-7am when its free time and even then I can only do about 2.5 gigs on a good night..... I miss the old way of downloading games here when I could start and pause/ max I get is 250kb

I only need 1.9 and 1.10.......Please for those of us not on a killer internet bring back individual patches rather than one big one.....
I've rolled back to 1.08.4. because i don't have time to fool around with the new update. I'll be waiting for some hotfixes. The game crashed in a cutscene, loading times are higher than before, i've seens a very annoying sky-bug - an that was at the first time I loaded a saved game.

P.S. Non-Steam shortcut doesn't seem to work with 1.10. So if you're also using Steam, not only GOG, be warned.

I don't think that's the problem; is just how Galaxy works for the moment. I was able to download and install the patch with beta channels enabled. I even played the v1.10. However, once I configured the game language from English to Portuguese in Galaxy, the program started downloading the entire patch again plus the language pack (17 GB in total). And when I changed the language back to English, Galaxy deleted the other language pack files altogether without even asking. I had to download the 3GB language pack again.

As for the patch itself, except for the graphics options' presets being unreadable and from the very few hours I played with v1.10, I have to say I am pleased with the results. The gameplay and GUI changes I saw and tested myself are an improvement, imo.

As far as the performance is concerned, I have no complaints at all. Also, may be only my perception but, nvidia hairworks seams to be improved at least, in the bears. Now the fur seams to look more natural.

I have a Core i7 920 @4,2Ghz, a GTX 980 @stock, 12GB RAM and the game is installed on an SSD. I play Witcher 3 @1080p with a mixed of ULTRA and HIGH graphic settings, Hairworks enabled (4x,) and the game did not dip below 40FPS at anytime - not even with Geralt close ups -, being lock @60FPS most of the time. The game runs smoothly in my GTX 980 I know some users had issues but, I can speak only for myself on this matter.

Well, I am happy that at least some people run bug-free. :-) My experience with this update was awful. Luckily, GOG gives us the option to rollback to 1.08. I've done just that and now I can play. Still level 23, so I am taking my time with Hearts of Stone.
Except for the graphics options category names, patch 1.10 works fine for me. One question though, is there any way to deselect content inside the new combined Free DLC package, or do I need to deselect the whole thing? I would like to disable the alternative outfits for Ciri, Yennefer and Triss.
You can do it from the main menu, georgmartin. Main Menu - Downloadable Content - Options and from there you can turn them off. I also dislike the alternative outfits for Triss, Yennefer and Ciri. I've even kept the original look of the Gwent cards.
