Binders full of fixes.

Gearing up for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone, the biggest game update yet is now available for download.

Altogether, it includes over six hundred in-game changes including quest fixes, performance optimisations, stability fixes and even new conversation options with key game characters. There are quality of life improvements as well, including anticipated new inventory management options.

You can see exactly what's new in the massive, thirteen-page-long changelog.

If you're getting ready to jump into the upcoming Hearts of Stone expansion, make sure to grab Patch 1.10 in the meantime - it's a hefty bunch of fixes, and required to play the expansion.

Guys, confirm something for me. I'm on Beta Update/GoG Overlay Channel. Game refuses to download the patch automatically.

It says that I have 1.08.4 (clicking it shows the Changelog for 1.10). Manually I was able to download a 4 part patch from GoG and install it successfully.

Game booted up fine, all updated to 1.10, then I quit in order to see if my lost achievements would trigger.

No dice, I go insane with impotent, mongoloid rage over this insignificant first world problem of mine.

So I switch channel to "Default" and lo and behold the game "sees" a 17GB patch and begins downloading (even though it was in 1.10). I abort naturally and switch back to Overlay/Beta. Game sees a 16GB patch and begins downloading. I let it.

It reverts the game to 1.08.

Now I'm right back where I began. Verifying/repairing or restarting GoG does not help. Should I just download the patch and install it manually again, or wait?
Ignore my last post. I was wearing a Nilfgaardian armor set, and that was the problem. Just gonna have to wait for the patch, that fixes the patch.
So I downloaded the patch now I can't play the game, it say i'm missing downloadable content a bunch of new quest, i can't open any of my saved files before the patch, i have to start over if I want to play. Is there a way to fix this?

OK I got it fixed, if anyone else having this problem enable the free DLC program apparently it was not enable after the patch.

GOG needs to rethink their patching approach. A 17 gig patch that's only 6.5 on Steam is a disgrace and a big negative in places where uncapped 50 Mbit broadband is not the norm.
Hey guys, downloaded without problems BUT was a bit confused about re-enabling DLCs (in GOG).

One of the ISSUES I have, however, is that I can't set my language to Czech, which I previously had (for immersion purposes).

Any help or ideas? Thanks.

I downloaded the update and can't play either and the DLC program is unavailable so I can't enable it. I can't check the box.
I'm about 45 hours in and haven't had any problems before this patch, but now it just crashes back to desktop constantly. I'm in Novigrad, and it seems semi-reproducible by walking near the herbalist in Hierarch Square, but has also happened in several other locations. I'm not doing anything other than walking or running at the time.
It sure would be nice to be able to play the game again. Since the update jacked up my game and none of the downloadable content is available.
Still not getting any update notifications for the Witcher 3. Wish they can fix the account section already. I thought this whole re-design was supposed to make things better but so far it has only made things worse for me. I miss out on so many notifications.

Wouldn't it be so great if Galaxy actually downloads and installs automatically the patches, as promised?

PS. Talking to you "mr developer"

I AGREE!!!! My library does not update, even after repeated refreshes. I constantly have to read this thread:

While I appreciate it, the library notification should be fixed.

Crosmando: It's embarrassing that GOG cannot handle a single big patch for a single big game without server issues and terrible speeds. I mean no wonder they can't compete with Steam and can't attract AAA games, as they obviously couldn't handle them as they're cheaping out on servers and/or Galaxy is just a badly coded piece of shit.
First of all, GOG is already light years ahead of Steam.

Second, stop using Galaxy. Are you not capable of downloading and managing your own games?
Just saying this so it is out there. I'm playing on New Game + and my Zerrikanian Horse Equipment has disappeared. This is after I reinstalled each dlc manually.

Same thing. Never got crashes before. But now Witcher 3 can stop working and crash to desktop. Happens often in Skelliga cutscenes atm.

Now, that's just silly 'fanboyism'.

Are you even listening?

Put yourself in the shoes of that user with 12 Mbit/s download speed who is forced to transfer +10 GigabYtes e v e r y s i n g l e time The Witcher 3 is updated - because Galaxy is "light years ahead of Steam" -, and tell him with a straight face that the Galaxy patching system in place is more convenient that Steam's DRM.

Put yourself in the shoes of that user who's missing critical updates because "light years ahead of Steam" Galaxy notifications are not working properly, and tell him with a straight face that the Galaxy notification system in place is more convenient that Steam's DRM.

I have a reasonably fast 15 Mbyte/s download speed internet connection and as far as "servers" and "download speed" are concerned, I haven't experienced any hassles with Galaxy but, I still don't like to download gigabytes of data to patch a game.

Note that I'm a fan of GOG that wants Galaxy to succeed.
