As you most probably know, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Next-Gen Update has arrived on GOG and is available for free for every owner of the game!

But besides all the amazing improvements that this update has brought to CDPR’s masterpiece (full list of changes HERE), there are also awesome in-game rewards waiting for you to redeem, like brand new gear for Geralt, which you can put to use on your monster-slaying adventures throughout the Continent!



These rewards serve as a thank you for buying or upgrading to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition and supporting CD PROJEKT RED.

With any version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in your library, simply follow these steps to claim the related rewards:

XYCat: Saints Row games have a steam shirt you can get in the game if you have it on steam. They don't if you have the game on GOG, big surprise, I know.
I'm glad you compared to something that would happen on the Steam anticonsumer platform. Because you're right. Something that should never happen here.

Has everyone against this made support ticket damning the removal of drm dlc?? It might actually work if you get enough people to do it. Not being sarcastic.

Even with this game being a CD Project Red game, most customers play on other platforms. And they don't care about DRM. With this, they need to make a GOG account.

But it would have been veeeery nice of CDPR, to make a completely DRM free GOG version.
Owning Gwent -> DLC added to library, as it has been done for other games.

I don't own any of the Witcher or Cyberpunk games but all this stupid 'online reward' stuff has convinced me is to avoid all CDPR games altogether, current & future. Probably not what the marketing guy intended.

Seems like a really tempered and rational response.

Anyway GOG have made it clear in multiple statements that they don't see cosmetic pre-order type items as relevant to their DRM free policy, same as multiplayer. You can either be mad about that or ambivalent (me!) but I'll tell ya two things I think are true either way:

1) No other store is even trying to be DRM free.

2) These early game cheat items are stupid and even if they came with a DRM free installer I'd tell you to ignore them.
