Grargar: In addition to the fixes to medusa's LOS, she now plays sound and some particles when petrifying players
Do you happen to know the specifics of this because I've noticed with 1.3 that bitch has been able to nail me when she isn't even on screen which considering she has to 'look at you' to me is cheating. :P

This doesn't make any sense. I started updating Terraria via Galaxy and Galaxy is downloading over 800MB? How does a game when installed has a size of less than 200 MB have an 800MB update? The standalone installer size hasn't really changed so the update can't be that big. o.O

So yeah, medusas are a real bitch. I kinda like that they're extremely dangerous, and lurk in the dark corners of the ancient, wet bowels of the earth. Gives the whole exploration thing a nice vibe; makes it feel like you're exploring some place ancient and forgotten.

That said, last night I crafted a Godly Night's Edge and some molten armor and have been obliterating medusas ever since.

I was wondering about that install size too. Was the install size that big on previous versions?

What, you can't use mirrors against Medusa's?

It is indeed over 800MB installed now, the difference is in the 'images' folder which has gotten monstrously large for some reason.
Does a method exist in order to remove the game update notification? It gets irritating especially when a person doesn't even see what has indeed updated.

To remove an update notification, you'll need to see what has been updated. To do so, go to your account, click the "My Collection" button and a drop-down menu should appear. Select "Updated" and you will see which games have been updated. Click the one you want, then "More", then "Changelog". Then, the notification should disappear after 5-10 minutes.

Thanks for letting me know, not sure why the heck it would increase like that. They didn't add a butch of new content apparently or unless the content was missing when the 1.3 was released... maybe the images aren't compressed now? Kind of weird.
