mrkgnao: It does look suspicious, which is why I asked Judas about it in the post preceding yours. Let's see what he thinks.

Indeed. Can you just make sure that the English installer doesn't have an in-game option to switch to French?

PaterAlf: I got two flags for DEFCON. One for the Windows version two days ago and one for the Mac version today.
avatar
mrkgnao: Me too. There was one more (probably minor) change in the middle (yesterday), which got no flag. No big deal.
We re-uploaded the Windows installer for DEFCON as there was a minor technical issue on our side :)

As for your other question, all of the languages for To The Moon should still be there and as for the French version I think that was an installer version we had for the French launch of the site :)

If any languages are missing, please let me know :)

i can tell you the french version vanished , the french version was a different one (different name & version as i mentioned) . so yes it's missing :/

i don't have the time to check this right now (the game isn't installed), i don't see why gog would have pushed a seperate installer if the english one already has this. furthermore the english one didn't changed.

Again this is more of a 'what did update on the site', but it seems like there are entries for company filters in the catalog for a whole bunch of companies that aren't on GOG yet, like Konami, Microsoft, Namco Bandai, Raven Software, Action Forms, etc. I don't know if that's some data entry person's very optimistic additions or a sign of what's to come.

omega64: Wait, they don't even bother telling us about new platforms for games? >_<
Many times during a sale I've had a moment of "oh wait they added a Linux version of this game?"

So yeah, I've been waiting for some Linux versions that already were there I just didn't know about it.

From what I recall about the language filter, the choices are automatically added by parsing the game pages, then sorted by number of entries. It is possible that the entries are not deleted if the game page data is changed, and since said entries appear to be in the "1-item only" range, they may be such a remnant. No idea what the games that triggered said additions could be though.

Exactly my point, that's the least they could do.

That makes sense. It could be that some games briefly had those companies listed as developer or publisher by mistake but the mistake was later corrected. Still, some of them are oddly specific.

Fixed as apparently the Mac version is English only atm.
