A tip for anyone using the GOG downloader to check for updates with:

If you find an update (same version number only) and then resume/overwrite your existing setup files, you WILL end up with different setup files than if you download them to a new folder. I have tested this with several games. Overwriting causes the main setup file to be larger and without a Digital Signature Timestamp. Downloading to a new folder generates a smaller main setup file but with a Digital Signature Timestamp.

Just pointing this out in case people are stating they have different hash values but for recent downloads with same version numbers. It is important that if you recognise an update, that you download to a new folder and not 'update' existing files if you wish to compare. :)

Any chance you can add a date next to the games in future?

i.e. When a game is verified as updated by someone, put that posters thread/post date next to the game in the list. Without keeping on top of this thread, it's impossible to know when these updates happened and therefore whether or not I've already updated the game.

I am now in the process of redownloading my entire collection (630GB) to ensure that it is as up to date as possible for the end of next week, when I will generate a new set of MD5/filesize files.

unfortunalty i noticed some small changes in the bonus. (very few , but still); so yeah u need to check everything with the downloader ....... if u want all the correct hashes

Curious, is anybody else getting an odd "white noise" in Dungeon Keeper when a music track ends? I don't recall the GOG version doing that before.

When you alt+f4 out of Avernum 4, it continues to run in the background without telling you until you end process from task manager. I don't think it happens when you quit from the game's menu. I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen with the other Avernum games either, when you alt+f4 out of them they actually close.
