It is indeed. I think I might be out of date on the base game, as I have an older patch for it as well. But I'm not redownloading the whole thing right now.

I do. Unfortunately, in my experience people who write or maintain software for a living and actually care about anything other than doing just enough to keep the boss off their backs until pay day are in the minority.

If you want quality software, use the stuff written by amateurs who do it for the love of it!

(I'm over-simplifying, of course! Sometimes the folks working for a small start-up actually do give a damn about what they're doing, at least for a while, and amateurs are rarely keen on testing or [especially] documenting things properly, whereas a good manager might actually make his hirelings do these things.)

Yes, I got the new patch, but I have an older patch as well that is more current than the base game. So I think I will ultimately need to download the new base game at some point.

The offline installer has been updated as well :)

Yah, that's the one I'm hedging on downloading. Can't spare the bandwidth at the moment, but will grab it later when I go offline for a spell. :)

The reason is underlined.
The only way to produce quality products is to do it for the quality, not for the money.
The majority of people are not willing to pay money for quality, so if you do something for the money, you are bound to sacrifice quality.

This is a bit disillusioning for me :(
I have pride in my work and try to be as perfect as possible even though I get money for it.

It's a question of motivation. You can do something for quality and still get paid for it, but once your decisions are based on how to maximise the money, quality is out of the window.

Because you are awesome and you do a real good job of keeping us informed?
Thanks :-)
Out of the topic , is there is another way for download backup installers except old GOG downloader and manual download links ? Especially Galaxy's end ?
