HypersomniacLive: Firek replied to my support ticket a couple of hours ago - according to GOG's web-devs, the problem was fixed, but perhaps they haven't put the fix in the live code yet; he will investigate the matter internally and make sure it gets fixed a.s.a.p.
For that to be correct, it would require that GOG have separate development and production systems which is observably false.
From MaGog's logs for 12 April:

NOTE! REMOVED FILE Shadowgate, downloadables, DLC: Shadowgate: Special Edition Upgrade: Windows installer, English (unknown; unknown; 0)

[GOG merely removed the dead link reported 3 days ago. The useless "Original game: Shadowgate" subtitles were also removed (from Windows and Mac). No files were harmed during the making of this update.]

P.S. IP blocked again, despite repeated reductions in the number of library accesses MaGog performs. At the current rate the delay in file changes reported by MaGog could be as much as 4-5 days. I wish they at least told me what the limits were, so I could work around them, rather than hit them and get MaGog's IP blocked.

Maybe they just don't want us to look into their deck of cards? oO

PS: Yet another flag for BASS, this seems to be a daily thing again.

Do you think it would help if others also sent them support requests about the IP blocking? Perhaps someone will get an answer if many people inquire about it.

I was just thinking the same thing. =P MaGog being blocked affects us all since that's our only pipeline to updates and changes.

Here is what I was told:
I apologize. The problem ws supposed to be fixed, according to our webdevs. Perhaps they haven't applied the intended change to the code. I will investigate this internally and make sure it does get fixed ASAP.
Perhaps I misunderstood something?

That really sucks. I'll join the voices to submit support tickets to get a solution to this issue, if you'd like us to.

And the bloody BASS update flag is back... again. While Fallout's gone MIA... again.

HypersomniacLive: Does anyone, anyone at all, get update flags for any game, any game at all?

Elbart: BASS. ;)
Apparently the update system is all about that BASS.

'Bout that BASS.

No treble.
Price drop on Reprisal Universe - $6.99 now instead of $9.99 :)

Now that you're here, could you please clarify this?

And a bump for my suggestion, just in case you missed it, and would like to consider it. :-)
Can't seem to get to that last page of games, now that GOG has broken 4 digits. So I'm guessing the fix isn't quite ready for prime time.

Also, any progress on removing SecuROM from F.E.A.R.?

That's a bit of good news. I recommend this one to Populous fans especially. The AI is quite skilled.

I left that patch up just in case you do need it :) So AFAIK you shouldn't need it but it's there in the rare event that you do :)

As for your suggestion, well, I hope that all of the account weirdness will be taken care of by the time I do go on my vacation :)

Okay, thanks, I'll just abstain from installing it for the time being. If you all do manage to get it patched out I expect it will show up in a changelog thread in the subforum, as well as being crossposted here by your good self. So we'll know when the coast is clear. :)

Yes, once I have something definite I'll keep everyone posted :)

Thanks again, much appreciated. I had to surgically remove SecuROM once in my lifetime, no desire to relive that. :)
