ZaineH: I guess that means we won't get the update until after the Steam version gets working achievements. It seems strange to delay 20+ bug fixes for almost two weeks for that.

MarkoH01: Yes, but you are right. I received answer today regarding the newest Outcast patch. They are busy fixing other bugs and the Steam Achievements so they had not uploaded the latest patch yet. I told them how unfair it is to not treat Steam and GOG users equally because both have paid money for the game. I guess we will have to wait a little longer.
Well, I've been waiting since I purchased it last month for the last update so a week won't make that much of a difference. It is disappointing though after seeing regular updates before then. I'll probably just push my first playthrough back even further.

Oh no! Vacation, the last time this happened all those updates were neglected and the community was waiting and waiting. There is only one Judas, master of the updates. What should we do if the "Blackguards" patch finally will arrive during your vacation? I just received another mail from Devolver and they told me that they are on the update for "Visceira Cleanup Detail Shadow Warrior" for GOG so this could also arrive then. I think I should add "no vacation for Judas" to the community wishlist ... yes, I now, I am selfish right now - must be the shock!

Happy (well deserved) vacation anyway and keep in touch *snief*

Yes, "disappointing" is the correct word. On Steam I often told the users that the only reason that GOG receives updates later is because they have to upload (and propably test) them manually. But now it is different. Steam received the newest update a long time ago - GOG did not. Instead of updating GOG they are bugfixing the Steam version - that is not fair and I told them exactly this.

As much as I appreciate devs listening to users' suggestions, I fear they misunderstood me. I wanted them to improve beer purchasing in real life. As it is now, I have to leave the computer to buy some. ;D
