It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

tburger: Adding Linux installers is very nice idea BUT flawed by the fact that you cannot download them via GOG Downloader. I tried to download Deponia using Palemoon/FF but it is 1.4 GB = 5h (with 1 Megabyte/s in Downloader). I gave up.
Hopefuly GOG Galaxy will solve the problem.
You can try using lgogdownloader.

It will, as download support for games and content is already present in the current alpha build now. I don't believe they have a Linux client available yet but they will in time and presumably the feature set will be identical between platforms modulo time to implement + test. I tested this functionality out yesterday with a few games and it pretty much replaces GOG Downloader's functionality completely. One cool thing is that you can download extras individually if you prefer instead of all of them at once which is nice too.

You can do this with the downloader too.
Okay, some posts here mention some kind of bug with the update flags, With the Tex Murphy Linux flags, since I don't currently use Linux, I just clicked on each of those packages twice and those flags disappeared when looking at GOG.com (Home).

When I open the Library page, though, I still show 2 updates (yet, there is no indication at the top of the bookshelves that there are any such updates). Also, if I put the mouse over Account, there is a 2 next to Library that won't go away (also, only when viewing my Library). Do I need to click twice on everything on my bookshelves, to clear whatever flags those are?

If you can figure out how to make the update flags reflect reality you'd end up being wiser than anyone I think. :)

Well, after clicking on all 316 of my game packages, it still has a 2 there at the top of the Library page, and next to Library (under Account) -- so, no, that doesn't work.

Some people believe that GOG is an internet store that sells video games.
That is just a cover story.
In reality, GOG is a point-&-click adventure game, and the puzzle you have mentioned is one of the more difficult ones to unravel (although there are others even more dastardly).
Alas, no one has written a comprehensive walkthough yet.

Did you try reloading the page?

You could try logging out, exiting your browser, re-opening your browser and logging in again.

Considering that it seems to be different/random for each user, I'll insist on GOG also being a roguelike.

They could also reboot their system, just to be on the safe side.

Cool, a gaming store with permadeath.
Someone should totally whip up a GOG store/community/cultural RPG with RPG Maker some day, it could be a riot. There has to be a couple hundred of you out there that bought one of those RPG maker/game designer bundles so get crackin! :)
