mrkgnao: The Book of Unbundled Tales, Chapter 3:

.......

Comparing this to Chapter 2, note that all the Windows installers are new (even the French and German ones, which kept the same version number), while all the Mac installers returned to their old versions.

All in all, it looks like someone set the English installer yesterday to apply to all languages, rather than to English only.

MarkoH01: I just tried to download the German installer (again) and it was the same asthe one I downloaded yesterday because the downloader recognized that it was already on my HDD and only checked the file. Downloading the English installer now.
Yes. As I said here, you were too late yesterday. You downloaded the files after the second change (chapter 3) and not after the first change (chapter 2). Since that second change, the files have not changed again, so what you download today is the same you did yesterday. You just happened to miss the 12-hour window when it was (probably incorrectly) different.

Ah, I understand now. You have to admit that the many changes can get a bit confusing. But since I never checked the English installer I will still check this and try to confirm that the English installer has all languages included (if I understood you correctly here).

As far as I understand (without installing) it includes only the English. It appeared to include all languages for a 12-hour window, but that was probably some GOG bug.

Dracula 4 always had seperate installers for each language, there was a bug :

if i understood properly what happened during the last "update": the only file avaible was the english one : (it's confusing due to the dropdown menu)

the only way to be sure before to iniatite the download is to turn-off the downloader mode.

gog readded the others installers (with the same build number as the english one) but they have a different name and file size. Also the french & german ones are different even if the older ones had the same build number. (i could be wrong for the german one, but not for the french one)

Yes, now it only includes english. I just read your post again and realized that you was speaking of the past. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my side.

Can't blame you. It is most confusing to reverse engineer what GOG is silently doing behind the scenes.
