Tannath: Another big day, uh? We have been having quite a few of those lately, haven't we?

EDIT: Would it by any chance have anything to do with the recent USK (German) Rating being added to games?
Perhaps "big" is not the right term. Perhaps "historical" is better.

EDIT: No.

Not just big, but historical. Tell me, are you trying to replace Judas as the forum's teaser?

That's weird. Has RWS stated why it's not here?

Actually, i dunno. There is linux version on, say, Desura (and Steam OFC). Even more, if you write a letter to them with proof of purchase (GOG receipt is fine too) they will provide you linux build too. Why they cant\dont want to do that here, on GOG, officially - i dont know. I already noticed that all new releases on GOG provide linux port if it exists (except Bastion), but linux-ready games sold on GOG before Linux support was announced is getting its ports slowly - maybe its not high priority or developers lazy.

It's known that GOG wants to launch a German version of the page. For the French one, they offered Little Big Adventure for free. So maybe again a free game.

But keep also in mind that some games aren't allowed to be be advertised or sold to minors in Germany, e.g.
Aliens vs.Predator
Alien vs. Predator 2010
Blake Stone - Aliens of Gold
Blood
Blood 2
BloodRayne
BloodRayne 2
Cannon Fodder
Cannon Fodder 2
Carmageddon
Carmageddon 2
Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines (English version)
Crusader: No Remorse
Duke Nukem 3D
F.E.A.R.
F.E.A.R. 2
Fallout 3
Far Cry (only older versions with ragdoll effects)
Harvester
Lucius
Medal of Honor
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Painkiller (only uncut version)
Postal
Postal 2
Red Faction
Redneck Rampage
Rise of the Triad (1994)
Rune
Shadow Warrior Classic
Shadow Warrior 2013
Silent Service
SiN
Star Wars: Dark Forces
The Chaos Engine
Total Overdose
Unreal Tournament

Games to which these restrictions applied in the past:
Hitman: Codename 47

Edit: Added more games from another list.

Good thing then that GOG is available only to individuals who are of legal age to form a binding contract and legally permitted to use the Service. Or does noone ever read the ToS?

It doesn't matter, German officials are quite rabid when it comes to video game and movie censoring which makes the companies self censoring extreme, because nobody wants his game to be forbidden completely.
Even titles that are only sold to matures (a18) are heavily censored here, because "minors could get an (illegal) hold of them".

That's why we fear the dreaded censored versions here now.
Austria sometimes gets uncensored versions with German language and I really hope, that we will get those.

I am not a lawyer, but these publications on the index can only be sold to people who have verified their age and the Wikipedia claims that they can only be sold if the customer asks for them.

Exactly and that makes them non-existent, because the last time I knew a local PC shop that had those somewhere in the back or under the counter was about 15 years ago and I wasn't even 18 yet at this point.
If your livelihood depends on selling stuff, you go the safe route and that includes the publishers as well as the sellers.
