Haven't tried it out so i'm not sure, I know when Dungeon Keeper 2's installer was updated the hardware acceleration patch no longer worked (the patch says it's not compatible and won't install when you try and use it) and I think someone said that was because the patch was now included in the updated installer. I'm guessing GOG is keeping the universal update around in case some don't re-download the updated installer.

I like the 2.0.0 installer as well as the updated graphics configuration utility for DosBox games.

Oh come on! Universal update to all installers and still not an option to specify the start menu directory??
Why such a basic feature is not provided? In the name of cleanness I demand it!
(When uninstalling, if you've changed the shortcuts from the default GOG.com, you must remember to delete them yourself)

These days I obsessed with 2.0 installars . They are perfect :)
