DyNaer: They should drop the bugged system and go for a changelog or at least give the option which one the end-user find the more convenient for him/her.
Well, that's what I am preaching ... at least they have opened a tumblr blog, they could use it for changes too, but I doubt it, it's more a replacement for their youtube videos..

Darklands, not sure what.

JudasIscariot: This explains all the updates :)
Are the new language versions of the games all correctly tagged with their respective languages? I dunno because I use lgogdownloader with the language codes for German and English and all new language versions are being downloaded. The OSX versions are also not really tagged as such, they also get downloaded, though I only select the Windows versions for download.

For reference, I downloaded the updated Alone in the Dark 3 with lgogdownloader --platform 1 --language 3.

Sorry for posting here, I think its an GOG issue, not a lgogdownloader one.

Yes, usually they'll have something like this for the PC version: setup_master_of_magic_french_2.0.0.20.exe or for the Mac version of a game: alone_in_the_dark_3_de_1.0.0.1.dmg, where the file name will have the two letter language code. Some games. however, have all the languages in one installer due to the fact that it may be technically impossible to split the languages into their separate installers.

Steam recently introduced a 'Recently Updated' section (Joystiq article).

Wouldn't it be great if we could have something similar here on GOG?
It could be a tab placed next to the "New & Coming" one and I do hope that this anticipated site-wide rewrite includes something like this.

It is a nice new feature on Steam and it also allows you to see specifically what is new for just the titles that you own.

Do you think you could ever do something similar with Slender The Arrival and attach the freeware Slender The Eight Pages?

+1

That would be great. Its fun for many people to read through a forum thread with 120 pages, but it is even more fun if you could find the info directly on the page of the game

In addition, show it on the front page (maybe a third tab called "Updates" from the left) and all your potential customers have a new incentive to buy the games, you GOGers!

Apparently there's a game just called 'Slenderman' that predates THAT too:
