Just to remind you guys, we sort of knew this was coming though... we were warned. Now a lot of the offline installers are being regenerated to match the new Galaxy builds that I've been seeing in vast number for over a month.

This, along with the changes done for the new Chinese market that GOG is going to open up to pretty soon I'd say, probably means at some point we'll have to refresh/re-download ALL our pre-Galaxy offline installers.

At this rate I think it's time for me to write a letter to my ISP explaining why I'm about to download almost 10-20gb a day for the next few weeks. :))

It seems that yesterday War for the Overworld changed from 1.6.2f2 to 1.6.2f3.

But the DLCs for Mac are still 1.6.2f2. The Windows DLCs are 1.6.2f3.

The Linux version also still sais 2.0.0.1. Did GOG forget to update the Mac and Linux DLCs?

All of the games I own from this batch have changed with the exception of Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive and Ultima™ Worlds of Adventure 2: Martian Dreams (maybe only changes for a language I'm not downloading). Terraria and Victor Vran also report MD5 sum mismatches for me.

Changelog entries really would be nice, especially in case of such mass updates and when some (not so small) games get 3 updates in 2 days or so (like Victor Vran).

Does that mean these ugly file names with parentheses are the new standard now? Meh! :(

Those were the days when GOG really was caring and eplained some things that were going on with the updates. Now we are just playing the guessing game. Well, I hope you enjoy my money GOGSteam. :(

While they are really ugly, I think the new name/version scheme is much more clear, and matches upstream version/build.

Yeah, i'd be nice to know if there's any real reason (critical fixes) to redownload those installers so I know whether or not to burn though my monthly internet cap.

I know this is only a tiny glitch, but I do checked this one.
There is nothing changes for this game. :-)

Serious Sam's Bogus Detour

Darkest Dungeon got 5-6 hotfixes on Steam in the last two days (yes, that is a lot). None of these have arrived here yet, not even on Galaxy. So I guess I "can't" play the game right now since there were some crucial fixes in these small patches.

Well, i have to disagree with you, GOG could make an effort to correctly written the name: ie : the game build (often it doesn't have any sense). I understood the old naming convention had some limitations but having files names written like this....:[

i have to guess , when there's no changelog.

I suspect games are more often updated due to the client.....i don't speak about real games updates....

i already requested to have better naming, better user library, notifications etc.... and i have the impression to be considered like a second class customer because i don't have any use of the client.

Taking in account, the support is getting worse, some of my tickets are closed without any concrete solution.....unless i don't understand how the support now works /sarcasm.
