I earlier forgot to announce that I'll be out in the wilderness during the whole weekend, so I'll be unable to generate and post any update logs until Monday afternoon (Western European time).

Not that there's usually much to report during the weekends, but still. Rest assured that nothing will pass unreported, it will only get delayed. Have a nice one and see you on Monday!

skeletonbow: Anyone know what changed? The file size shrunk, hope nothing was removed.
It appears that several corrupt pdf versions of the map were removed. They had file sizes of about 123kb instead of 58mb. The good copy of the map, the 58mb version, is unchanged.

A weekend in the wilderness? Just make sure you won't be missing any pieces by the time you come back, and if Theodore tags along, see if you can trick him into saying in the woods.

Have fun!

Great job, novel idea to use ROM dats for GOG games.

I strongly recommend that you put this on github or gitlab.

Grim Dawn got an update. I've added the changelog to the corresponding thread in the game forum.
And I'm back! Thanks for the good wishes, everybody!

Note to self (and a good piece of advice to anyone): always, always, double check your camping gear before leaving home, or you'll run the risk of having to sleep in the backup, child-sized tent. Ugh... xS

PS: I chose a good time to go away, as there's nothing to report yet. This will surely change with MaGog's next dump in about two hours, as I've spotted a Hard West update (apart from the Grim Dawn one mentioned by ElTerprise).
Just an important note before Kingdom New Lands is available to download, if you haven't purchased Kingdom, I suggest you purchase it now with 15% off sale, as the Original Kingdom will no longer be supported and discontinued from sale (on Steam, so I guess GOG will also discontinue the original), Only Kingdom New Lands will be available after today,

You get New Lands for free if you purchase Kingdom before New Lands is available, but its the last time you will be able to play the original world, unless you have purchased the original game.

just a quick heads up before New Lands unlock

cheers:)

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
Patch 1.0.0.5 Hotfix 1 (08th August 2016)
[Crucible]

- Significantly increased Experience gained in the Crucible
- Slightly increased rate of Rare item drops in the Crucible at all difficulties, particularly at the earlier waves
- Increased the damage dealt by Defense Beacons
- Fixed an issue with the Stormcaller Beacon having lower than intended range
- Reduced the potency of the Regenerating Mutator
- Fixed an issue with Defense Sites not resetting if you upgraded a defense to tier 3.
- Fixed an issue with Lokarr's dialogue becoming stuck if restarting the event from wave 1.
- Added the ability in the Multiplayer Browser to filter out Crucible games with wave events in progress.

[Mod Tools]

- Spears and Staves moved to the correct categories for the merchant and blacksmith.

[Tech]

- Fixed a bug with plague skill applications.
- Fixed a bug with hardcore character deaths in the Crucible.
- Fixed AttackWave skills not stopping their loop sound.
- Fixed an issue with certain Chain Lightning skills not cleaning up after themselves.

[Game]

- Fixed missing stat change for the Sigil of the Bear King (added 5% Attack and Cast Speed)
- Fixed an issue with Beronath's Fury, Troll Rage and Savagery double-dipping into their flat damage bonuses. As this fix is effectively a nerf, the flat damage values were increased to compensate. This is a slight buff if you use these skills and mix in other abilities that deal % Weapon damage between auto attacks.

[Class & Skills]

- Demolitionist
-
Searing Strike has been split into two Transmuters: one exclusively for one-handed melee weapons and another for two-handed melee and ranged weapons. Bonuses adjusted accordingly.

- Nightblade
- Nidalla's Justifiable Ends now reduces Shadow Strike's cooldown by a flat value rather than a %. This is a slight buff for characters not stacking cooldown reduction.

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
Patch 1.21 (08th August 2016)
In VR, presumed fix for spawning way up in the air or below the level on reloading a save game/level.
In non VR, fix for gamepad not receiving focus on the explorer diary menu.

Patch 1.20
MAJOR NOTES

- VR Inventory and crafting menu added for Vive and Oculus
- PDA now has interactive buttons using the Vive
- Possible fix for crashes or freezes on certain AMD systems

General

- Fix for Messiah achievement.
- Possible fix for the freezing, performance or audio issues on AMD systems
- Updated Spanish, Polish, Russian translations
- Fixes to non-translating words in all languages
- Change in explorer diary to try and fix the incorrect number of reported items found.
- Rare bug fixed where the sky and weather speed would become 0 forever. If you had this problem reloading your game with this patch should fix it.

VR changes to previous settings

- Option for Sep Head removed due to not working well. The functionality is still there however for those who do want to use it, and it will continue to work if you had it enabled before. Can be toggled via the game.ini file HMDSepHead=False
- Instead of Sep Head is the new option Use Vive Controller Rotation. When using Vive teleportation movement, the teleport destination will take over the rotation of the left controller instead of the camera. This used to be default on and is now default disabled! If you use a Walking movement mode, enabling this option will let you steer your walking direction by pointing the left controller, instead of turning your head.

VR

- VR inventory added! Works for Oculus and Vive. Using head aim for now but we are investigating replacing with right controller aim on Vive in the future. Inventory also allows much easier crafting.
- When using the Vive, the PDA changes model into a new model with interactive buttons you can press using the right controller!
- On Vive, the PDA now also displays the oxygen and toxicity levels.
- Added new option to take over the left Vive controller rotation for movement.
- In VR can no longer cheat the first level by entering the caves without the long range teleportation device
- In VR fixed wrong ladder teleportation spot when re-entering Landing Caves coming from Highpoint Caves
- When playing VR with the keyboard, remember that F12 is reset position and tracking
- Swimming improved when using teleport movement. Can now aim at the top of the water surface to allow for traversing over the surface instead of always diving. Might contain a few issues or bugs still but mostly works.

The VR future and known VR issues

- Investigating adding controlling menus with the right Vive controller instead of head aim.
- Further swimming improvements when using Vive teleportation
- VR loading screens still.
- Oculus Touch controllers are being considered for implementation.
- Additional VR optimizations from Nvidia for GF1070/1080 cards are being investigated and considered for implementation.
- Higher default resolution, but since the game is heavy and since you can tweak this freely yourself we consider this lower priority at the moment.

Ghost of a Tale [In Dev] has probably changed

[FILE UPDATES]

* File changed: Windows installer, English --- Size has not changed (914.0 MB) --- Version *FROM* 1.63 (gog-6) *TO* 1.75 (gog-8)

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
Patch 1.75 (08th August 2016)
(Edit: There was an issue with the publish of 1.74 so it has now been superseded by 1.75, which additionally takes care of ALT, CTRL and page up/down keys not being able to be rebound)

This new update focuses on improving the game’s controls. From keyboard remapping (including movement keys) to Dualshock 4 controller support, to better control over camera inversion settings, etc...
In addition you’ll also find many other fixes and improvements (several of which were requested by you guys). Enjoy! :)
Fixed:

- Camera spinning endlessly when Dualshock 4 is plugged in
- Impossible to click on anything or call inventory/main menu via keyboard when Dualshock 4 is plugged in
- Gamepad preset dropdown menu remains open when leaving the Controls menu with ESC
- Lights and shadows sliders have no effect (still need to exit light’s range first to see the effect)
- Lights, shadows and dynamics sliders are not properly stored in preferences
- Some floating trees are visible from the garden
- Left-click is not working when reassigning keyboard shortcuts
- Keypad keys can’t be remapped
- Faustus’ mushroom quest is mentioned before player has met him
- Faustus doesn’t give the mushroom quest if the plague doctor mask is already in inventory
- Tilo sprints automatically when entering water while wearing the armor
- Tilo is allowed to sprint while in water
- Many steps are blocking Tilo when he walks slowly (ie: sneaking or walking with the armor on)
- The back wall of the underground tunnel (shortcut to the jail) is invisible as long as the jail zone is not loaded
- Some heavy items (ie: stools, buckets) disappear from their location
- Fatale can’t give back the figurine because it’s not in her inventory
- Dialog “talking” sound remains audible when reloading a save while in the middle of a dialog
- Rebinding an unrecognized key prevent from accessing the main menu again
- Many holes in the set’s geometry (please send screenshots if you find more!)
- Guards' colliders are not always properly reset at reload (ie: Tilo can walk through them and they can't be knocked out)

Changed:

- Invert vertical and horizontal camera setting is now split into specific settings for gamepad and mouse
- Upon trying to open a locked door (or container) the player is now made aware of which key is required
- Pressing ESC while within an option menu now steps back one level instead of going back to the game right away
- Removed option to show AI gizmos in the debug menu
- Pressing ESC while the game is listening for a key to be rebound will stop the listening

Added:

- Implemented native support for Dualshock 4 controller (with matching icons)
- Implemented keyboard remapping of movement keys
- Added bucket on top of trapdoor near entrance (justifying Tilo can’t open it from under it)
- Added a handful of new resolutions (1366x768, 1360x768, 2560x1080, 2880x1620)
- Added button to reset keyboard/gamepad mapping (useful when things went horribly wrong)
- Added “too dark” feedback message to all the dark places that still needed it
