Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that there's an update to the manual for Thunderscape. I basically cleane it up a bit and tried sprucing it up some without altering any of the content. I didn't get a chance to get that last bit of sprucing up done until now :D.

I hope you like it.

I've just got it and can say the readability is a lot better than before. The bluish cast is gone now, all pages are white and clear - good work! :)

Thanks :) I usually get these kind of things done in time but it's been a little hectic around here lately :P
The re-released versions of Dark Fall 1/2 are 2.0 installers, in case anyone didn't notice, don't know what (if anything) is new about them though

I wonder what the deal is with the third Dark fall game, and why it isn't on GOG

Different publisher.

We may see it here soon.

SLP2000: All of them, or only 3rd part?
avatar
Crosmando: 1, 2 and 3 definitely, though I'm not sure about the expansions (they had different publishers I think and aren't on Steam)
Do you have a link to an article about that or something please? The first one was originally published by MS and 2nd 2k Games (Take 2) only the 3rd was by Sqeenix, but I'm not saying they don't have the rights, I'd just like to see your source please
Thanks

*edit* LOL Oh, I see, they're all on Steam published by Squeenix, fair enough then, that's good enough for me, sorry! Dur!

Dark Fall 2 got updated now with the original version. So you can play both DC and original version if you like.

Director's cut version not only has new content, but also changes or alters the original content, so some may find that addition welcome :)

although the original version may have some problems with working on Win7, as far as I know, and GOG will not provide support for the original (older) version of the game.

I owned DF2 here before it was taken off the site, but I haven't played it yet. Which one is the new version that I didn't download yet, the original or the DC? Also, which one would you recommend to play?

If you downloaded it before, it's the original version which is a bonus now.

The "default" version sold on gog now is director's cut version.

I would rather recommend to play the original first, and maybe later the DC version if you want. Many claim the DC made too many unnecessary changes to the main story and not all of them were changes for better.

Ok, thanks!
Great move to upload also the old version. I wasn't aware the special edition plays so different and already exchanged my old backup with it. Now I have the choice between both and can decide myself - perfect.
Shelter got an update

And the flag got stuck ;)

EDIT: and it's gone :) Thanks
