The way GOG does things, all I see on my shelf is 2.0.0, not the actual version number seen in the filename once you download it. This means for me, downloading using my browser, I must actually download a file to know what version it is compared to what version I already have. And some people wonder why I have issues with this system and way of doing things. I guess I am just an unreasonable SOB wanting version numbers and update flags and change logs every time.
Or better still, an optional client that manages this for me. I know, I am such an entitled prick aren't I?
