I know because I tested it via Wine with no Galaxy installed and even managed to get online without the aid of Galaxy :)

Have you gotten more manpower? Insomnia sale, the bunch of classic releases this week and the added language packs, quite a lot of work has been done lately.

I thought Pajama was referring to Impossible Creatures and I answered as such. As for AVP it still uses Galaxy for multiplayer.

I just installed AVP in German and so far it seems that the German special characters (ä,ö,ü,ß) are missing (they are left out completely so that letters are missing) at least in the game menus. Is it supposed to be this way?

No problem. I only was wondering why AvP should have a multiplayer mode without Galaxy now when it has been used to test the multiplayer code in Galaxy. Thanks for clarification.

Still, I can't remember, I've put up quite a large number of installers in a short amount of time on the day the Community Language Pack got released.

Like I said, the Galaxy bundling which applied to 4 games (Aliens vs Predator Classic 2000, Double Dragon Trilogy, Rise of the Triad 2013 and Witcher Adventure game) stopped being a thing 10 months ago.

Galaxy does not come bundled with AVP but it is needed if you wish to play multiplayer games online :)
