Well, in fact I DID ask about this in 02/2016 in the Aliens vs. Predator forum but no, I haven't had the time to contact the publisher (the link to their site still resides on my desktop). This is all Judas and I am very happy about it :)

Edit: and ninja'd by the master himself.

[modified] no border forced on windowed mode (too many complaints)
[modified] screen forcibly resized is just a warning now, doesn't change any values

It's always been standalone and so it remains.

I know because I tested it via Wine with no Galaxy installed and even managed to get online without the aid of Galaxy :)

Thanks :) My mistake came from reading this thread - https://www.gog.com/forum/aliens_versus_predator_classic_2000/avp_installer_is_it_available_as_a_clean_install_yet_it_was_bundled_with_galaxy_client and missing the last two replies...

Galaxy bundling has stopped being a thing ever since the client went into beta, which was, give or take, about 10 months ago.
